yeah, the neck is pretty nice. It's a good guitar to start playing with. But I'd compare it with some other guitars first.

you played it correct, but heres a tip: try to not bend the strings down as you did in the beginning, always try to bend em up, because u get more power from your wrist (except the E string ofc)

@larren90 Actually, bending down will give you a lot more power, because the hand is a utensil naturally made to close, not open, as it does when bending up. The reason most guitarists go about bending upward is because the first string people learn to bend on is the highest one, which you need to bend upward, and consequently they have much less control than bending upward.

Also, bending upward gives you that rock and roll look of pitch going up, finger going up...
