Hi Migitinacopper, sorry I didn't respond to you sooner. I hope you were able to find enough information to complete your paper.
As far as problems with being a cartoonist, that's a pretty in-depth issue, but if you look up some cartoonist's blogs, you should be able to find out some good information.
One of the biggest problems of being a cartoonist are clients that don't respect the hard work and practice that it takes to become good, and want you to work for "exposure" instead of real pay.
Thanks for your comments, good and bad. This was my first video, so I was pretty nervous, hence the umm's and uh's. Looking at it again, yeah, it's pretty bad, but hopefully you able to learn a little more about the tools involved in cartooning.
I don't know if I'm going to get the chance to make more, it's been a pretty crazy year and the videos take a lot of time to produce. I'll try to do more if I can because it's fun to show the details involved in cartooning.
My favorite drawing utencil (because I dont draw in pencil, and that makes me an awful person.. sooo, I know my way around pens like an open hat, whatever that means! :D) is a pen called Precise V7, which is a rolling ball pen thingimojig, and I typically use "fine" for size, although they get much thinner..
...what shit...

I don't know if I'll be able to create more tutorial videos because of how busy I've been lately, but if I can I will.
I appreciate the comments, even the ones giving me a hard time! ; )

Sousui, there aren't any right or wrong tools, use what you're comfortable with and produces the results you want. Good luck with the storyboarding!
