I love this scene as well, and those that are trying to logic the van starting are missing the entire point. It is no coincidence that the song that is in the van and appears at other times in the series is Shambala. Shambala is found in ancient texts and is mystical land of magic. The van started and ran because Hurley spoke and thought it into being. It is all about the moments of happiness that bring them all together. The same thing that brings them together at the end.
