  • an error occured. Please try again later.

  • I touch myself while listening Downer... XD I love Nirvana <3

  • unfortunatly, if kurt came back to life and saw the hottopic fad nirvana has become, hes killl himself again. (although i thinkk it was Love) nirvana is amazing, but not how mediated it is now..

  • no one cares how old you are. STFU!

  • I'm 13 and listen to nirvana all day long everyday!

  • i'm 15 and no one of my friends know what is Smells like teen spirit... can you believe that??

  • @SoDamnBionic i can it just dosent belong to ur times tho, so they arent obligated to listen to them since u guys belong to the justin bieber generation sadly :(

  • @evildude400 but nirvana is legendary, you can't don't know them!

  • @SoDamnBionic you see the fact that you say they are lengendary, is relative, cuz theres hundred of arts out there, with legendary people that you and i prolly dont know them(all), i could say one legendary football player from brasil or argentina and you prolly dont know who they are, then you gotta take in instance that stuff like bethoven and picasso is been there for hundred of years( and are well known dead people) so the fact you think is an obligation to know nirvana is ridicolous..

  • @evildude400 i'd know it, cause i'm from argentina -.- here, nobody knows good music. nirvana is popular culture. is not another silly band. is nirvana, end point

  • @SoDamnBionic i get it kids, you just discover the band like what maybe 3 or 4 years ago and your all hype about it, but it dosent mean everybody needs to know them, they were great, and they had recognition in his time like no other band, but you kids need to learn not to live in an era it wasnt urs, living in the past is not sane, if u dont like your present time crappy music then fuck for sake, go out and start creating new awesome music, dont b crying about how others are legendary.

  • @evildude400 4 years ago i was 11 -.- that isn't a insult. we're talking about nirvana, not other bands

  • @SoDamnBionic hence why kids are so close minded, get it into your skull or that head of yours, not because we liked them or we known them, means everysingle person in the world has to know them by default, shit dosent work like that, and let me tell you something kurt is not an Aristotle or a phitagoras or nicolo Machiavelli etc, you kids need to understand kurt was great but he aint godly, he didnt even share a new way of thinking either he just expressed what a generation was going through

  • @evildude400 i don't think kurt is god. don't talk if you don't know

  • @SoDamnBionic well i talk to you cuz im older, word of advise, stop living in the past, you got a living artist making history like thom yorke,(radiohead), eddie vedder, etc, and your focusing on the dead, kurt already mad his contribution to music theres nothing else he can do, the same way sabbath did, the same way hendrix did and the list goes on and on,

  • Error wtf? had no problem showin me some nig smokin pcp

  • I've been trying to watch this video for a week, and I keep getting this message: "An error occurred. Please try again later." I'm getting really intrigued! Is it that amazing?

  • @sebastian6736 had the same prob, try 240p

  • I'm 12 too and I'm the only girl in my school that listens to Nirvana too! I'm crazy about this music. I will never forget Kurt, because Kurt is a part of my life. Very important part.

  • holyshit, there are so many comments about what i said o.o. so yeah i don't think i'm special, people. i'm only a kid who admires Kurt and hates Nirvana posers that's just it you don't need to call me a pussy or anything that was just a comment on youtube i didn't made everybody talk about it or what.

  • I started liking Nirvana on my own, I've always liked them but never really got into them. It's so hard to find music that isn't this mainstream, computer generated shit they have on they radios now. The same beats are used over and over again and it gets tiring. I have tons of respect for artists who can play instruments and actually sing their own songs.

  • i listened to nirvana and didnt know the name of the band and had no money for cd's. As music became important for me nirvana endet and all the people started listening to other music. may they liked some balades like lithium and all apologies, but only the studio recordings, i was alone with my love to the early live recordings could only listen to them alone and did it, many many hour, and now here on youtoube i find new recordings and i love them like 20 years before...

  • @TheWenexx ended, hours, youtube & co, I know

  • DEAR ALL ROCK AND NIRVANA FANS, FEBRUARY 20TH IS KURT COBAIN'S BIRTHDAY. THAT DAY WE WILL ALL VISIT THE "SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT" VIDEO, LIKE IT, AND WISH HIM A HAPPY BIRTHDAY. NOT ONLY WILL IT PAY BACK RESPECT TO HIM, IT WILL ALSO HELP NIRVANA GET TO THE TOP OF YOUTUBE AGAIN. THUMBS UP THIS COMMENT AND REPOST THIS ON ANY NIRVANA OR ANY ROCK VIDEO.

  • @marcosjc2 Dear all gay spammers, please get off the internet!

  • Ok kids we get it, you're between the ages of 12-15 and you listen to nirvana, I love nirvana but come on we get the point.

  • nah, wish though. would have been pretty sweet

  • 1992...I was 12, still remember hearing Lounge Act, and it clicking instantly... still love Nirvana to this day...

  • fucking bullshit. it doesnt work. godamn peice of fuckin shit computer. im gonna throw this fuckin peice of shit thru a damn wall

  • im too 12 years old and i listen to nirvana 24-7 i cant stop listen to them but the point is that im think that it is only i who listen to nirvana in my school

  • April 5th, 1994

The day the music really died.

  • @donwantstobesedated that is very true it just went down hill

  • @donwantstobesedated no. just kurt.they are great, but they are not that talented really. good studio band, not so great live most of the time tho. which is what counts.

  • @feralwinter Wha? Nirvana is one of the greatest live bands of all time. EASILY. Dave Grohl is IMHO the best musician in music the last 15 years, who has been amazing both behind the kit and as a frontman. Krist may not have done much great aftwerwards, but his basslines with Nirvana are among rock's best. A lot of the hooky pop influences Nirvana is known for comes from his basslines. And Kurt is up there with Bob Dylan and John Lennon as one of the greatest songwriters.

  • IMHO Nirvana was not the greatest live, they had a raw power that made being at a gig something special but u had to b ther. Krist sed they went thru countless hours of crap recordings to eventually get Muddy Banks.Krist played rhythm bass, following the guitar which I could teach to anybody,(xcept Lounge Act ),so I disagree on that one.DG is a good drummer but couldn't really show it with Nirvana, early FF is good, and yes Kurt is one of the greatest songwriters of all time most definitely.

  • nobody did it like kurt man the guy will always be a legend

  • Comment removed

  • his lyrics are so amazing! "cut myself on angel's hair and baby's breath" I have his Journals that were published and it amazes me how talented and what a great writer he truly was. And I believe I am enganged to the reincarnation of him, to a certain extent. Either way, I will always be a Nirvana fan! <3

  • Every time I watch Nirvana I get as emotional as the day that Kurt died. it is a day I will never forget. I have 2 daughters aged 8 and 5 and they can sing nearly all Nirvana songs by heart, I am making sure him talent is taken to the next generation.

  • Dudes...20 y´rs ago we went AWOL...nowadays we´re still north of the border. 45 and Kurt still has a sayin´.

  • There's something about his music... no matter what age you are, it just speaks to you.

  • Kurt Cobain- Desperate Spokesman For The Grunge Generation, a misunderstood individual who should still be here with us today. I wasn't born before his death, but i still love him. Kurt if you're reading this, somewhere in heaven, just wanna let you that you rock x

  • I was listening to Nirvana at a pretty young age (my mother turned me on to them, got me a cd through Columbia House! Remember that shit!), even before i knew what the fuck half the music was about. But, i loved it, and still do. I will never forget the day he died. I was crushed at the age of 9. But it still lives, as long as people are listening. I can pop in any Nirvana album and it brings me right back to my childhood, which is a great thing. Music is like a time machine! REMEMBER THAT!

  • @JBriarwood this is probably a dumb question since u were only 9 but did u ever get to see them in concert?

  • Nirvana was really the last revolutionary rock band. And i think rock is dead, because there's just to much analysing, and suspicion in todays information age.No one takes risks, now, the hip thing is be underground, bands can't even sign to major labels or have a video, without being tagged sell-outs.The problem is,is that if you remain underground, then there's no way to reach the masses, and start a cultural shift for the better.Lack of originality is somewhat part of it,but there's more to it now.

  • @leticiaroxxx i was born the same weak that he died so im never gana be able to see him either =/

  • @ghty102 i hate that,sometimes i dream that i'm his friend...yeah i'm weird hahaha xP

  • I've based myself off the 90s and its music, specifically Nirvana... Its a shame that I should have too explain who he was too all my friends at school, and it bothers me that they look up to people like kanye west and other crappy musicians, especially if theyre all tools like Kanye. I wouldnt mind if there wasbetter people for them to look up to, but when 2000 came I think we got more morals and lost more originality. Kurt knew what he was doing when he got out before the world changed badly

  • me and my friends are trying to revive grunge we are called the flaming renobs videos will be up soon R.I.P Kurt

  • fortunately theres still people that listen to him... maybe they'll be people that can learn from them but theres definately noone who can beat him!

  • i'm 12 and i think i'm the only girl in my school that listens to Nirvana, there r some girls that says that like them but they're posers they don't even know Smells Like Teen Spirit! I wish i could born before his death....Kurt , i don't even know u but we all here miss u :/

  • @leticiaroxxx Don't worry i'm 12 too, And i'm pretty shure i'm the only girl that listens to Alien Sex Fiend :P

  • @DaisyComicBookNerd in my school i'm the only girl that likes rock and that pisses me off hahaa :P

  • @leticiaroxxx same situation, I'm 15 though...

  • @leticiaroxxx ya its the same deal for me but its about guns and roses every body posers gnr forever

  • @leticiaroxxx i was born just after he died.. D: literally..I've been to many concerts including Tool (my favorite band) but i'd kill a man just to see Nirvana live..one time..even if they were wasted and it sounded awful. who am i kidding it would still sound amazing.

  • @leticiaroxxx omg i noe how u feel even though im 13 i hate girls like tht

  • @leticiaroxxx - thats funny because I am also a 12 year old girl that listens to Nirvana. Although at my school all the 12 year old girls get off of Kurt if you know what I mean.

  • @phreec69 really?That's cool xD.Yeah i know,these girls should just fuck off ¬¬

  • @leticiaroxxx I know how ya feel. Even though I was born before his death still, I was born a month after Nevermind came out. Though I am a dude and can't really relate to the lack of female fans in your school but still, when I was in high school, the amount of guys and girls combined that listened and APPRECIATED Kurt's music...was slim. So I am glad to hear that Kurt is still having an impact on people even at a young age like your's. So thank you, cuz I miss him badly too.

  • @PunkRocker290 well, you r welcome! x),i'm glad to know that there are so many girls and boys at my age here that loves Nirvana more than me,but if Justin Beaver (or Pop,idk) still lives ,real music still dead D:

  • @leticiaroxxx The only thing that would kill music if all spectrums of music were as awful as that idiot. I mean, there are still good bands that aren't in the pop scene that are awsome. So as long as these bands live, music will too.

  • @leticiaroxxx I love you

  • @austin3636 what?! '.'

  • @leticiaroxxx well said sister

  • @leticiaroxxx fnially someone who knows there music

  • @leticiaroxxx

so knowing smells like teen spirit makes u a truly dedicated fan? take care of your ego girl. flaming is welcome, let it all out people.

  • Comment removed

  • @leticiaroxxx :/ age doesen't matter no one cares if your female or male or your age music is for everyone no gender can be put on music

  • @leticiaroxxx Welcome To The Club.

  • @leticiaroxxx hey im 14 and i'm like u but we cant look the pass we have to grow up and build a better future :)

  • @leticiaroxxx ya im 14 and at my school there is only like 4 people who I know that have even heard of nirvana let alone Kurt Cobain, and it is so sad that rock, grunge, and punk is dieing, to rap and hip hop, what happend to real music?

  • @leticiaroxxx posers who don't even know teen spirit? posers are the people who only know teen spirit.

  • @leticiaroxxx hey i listen to them to and your like the only person my age who does to

  • @leticiaroxxx your a fuckin idiot... posers are the ones who only know smells like teen spirit go buy bleach i bet itll make you cry you pussy

  • @TheEpictoadjourney dude, that's what i meant, they only know smells like teen spirit.I don't give a fuck if you think i'm a poser or stupid or a pussy, whatever,i just said i'm only a kid and proud to have a good taste in music and not a fucking belieber.

  • @leticiaroxxx Nirvana were the most influential band of my time and i was blessed to see them live on their only Australian tour, it will live with me till the day i die. Like yourself i grew up listening to a lot music from the 60's & 70's, from the Beatles to T-Rex and many in between and i never met anyone who was into that sort of music till i was in college. All i can say is keep listening to good music, don't worry about posers as you get older you will realise that all people are fake.

  • @Bl4cKs0u7 that's true,thank you.i will.

  • @leticiaroxxx I'm so happy to read that comments from young people!!there's a hope.. don't care what other class mates listening or like, stay true to yourself

  • @leticiaroxxx Yeah... All the girls on my class listen to Justin Beaver and all the boys listen to Lady Gaga or DJ Asshole...

  • @leticiaroxxx thats sad, Im 18 and when I was 12 Nirvana was like the "cool" band to like and even though that was a bit superficial its sad to see that people dont even known who Kurt Cobain was anymore

  • nirvana song is the best!!!

  • mayb death is the only way 2 jam wiv him

  • well no offence m8 its sad to even know who justin bieber is holy shit!

  • @hugglesniff123 i still dont know who he is, ive heard his name about now cause of douches, but apart from that i have no clue, and i dont want to either.

  • certain elements of all music are subject to ups and downs in terms of the number of people listening to it......but great music always seems to promote it self, this is something cobain felt was ideal. In many ways he was also the original indy band except he had no problem getting a major label. His music isnt dead so what if 13 yr olds are listening to something else....smart ones will 10 YRS FROM NOW i guarantee thousands will be listening to his music and bieber will be forgoten.

  • fuck the haters keep the grunge alive go to the alice in chains concert in october

  • well ofcourse kurt is the best and justin bieber isntr good enough to lick his dead rotten burned balls

  • @clemmerlamb you're so fuckin right man, in my school its the same

  • how fucken cute

  • he so fuckin boring and no talent

  • @kanejackson78 dude you better be talking about justin gayber

  • @m8ko im talking about kurt and your bitch ass queer

  • @m8ko ohh what are you gonna do if he's talking about Kurt? spam him to death? why worry about stupid ass comments? Kurt was quite boring musically. but as a person he's intresting.

  • why couldnt u just name this "kurt cobain compilation video" ?

  • this is so fucking stupi its just a gay musicless compilation with a song over its wat couldnt upload the sound bites

  • It makes me think sometimes. When hurt was born in 67 a few years latter when he was banging on pots and pans and singing to bodda could anyone have predicted who he would become. It changed my life and unfortunately it ended his. Its a damn shame that overwhelming success was the result of nevermind. under all the hype of nevermind is a forgotten genious. If you think nirvana is "junk rock" that made it only because of timing.listen to a nirvana song on piano. It's pure genious.we miss you kurt.

  • Grunge isnt dead..... its just resting!!

  • @FranticFailure And I'm the one who will wake it up!

  • Poor man. Could of saved him. He announced himself suicidal on a video from Behind the music. Uhhh.

  • I believe that we are goin to see some grunge getin back

  • Hey! Wait, I've got a new complaint.... R&B..

  • kurt industrialized music in all not just grunge. if he was still alive people wouldn't accept that justin beiber lady gaga beyonce shit.

  • kurt cobain was crazy!!!!

  • please good god send back to earth our kurt kobain and we sent to you the fake justin bieber, tokio hotel, fucking hannah montana -_- please we sent them all just give us back kurt kobain :(

    OldSchool had spoken \m/

  • Fuck you all, I'm a fan of Nirvana because I grew tired of all the morons calling each other fags and now I see that so called Nirvana fans who have zero knowledge of what the band actually stood for are using these ridiculous terms Cobain and all authentic artists I like despised(d) to show how 'grunge' they are (grunge is a mainstream media hype, not a real position).

I don't need any posters or t-shirts of Nirvana to prove that I'm a fan. I'm an individual not a fanatic, thank you. Morons

  • he is so sexy at 3:46...

  • it sucks how in order to bring grunge back we have to listen to grunge bands that arent really together anymore. so basically its sad that kurt is gone he was amazing and alot of his fans are young and never got to see him. i hope grunge and metal and rock gets as popular as rap and the other stupid shit that's popular today.

  • Comment removed

  • @bafikybafikybaf Kurt.

  • Grunge is waiting to be reborn.

  • i blaze to his shit

  • Comment removed

  • im 13 and im the only kid at my school who actually listens to nirvana...i have a kurt cobain poster and one of my friends asked me who he was......i was like are u serious he's like a legend.....then she said i listen to justin bieber......i was like he's such a fag music and grunge is dead bcuz of lady gaga and justin fag bieber

  • @clemmerlamb kid, your totally right, i'm 16 and i listen to Pantera, Metallica, System of a Down, No one knows who Dime is and Daron malakian, even one of my friends didn't knew who james hetfield was!!!

  • @AimlessAnger Dime..as in Dimebag Darrel

  • @MyBarret50 It's easier to say dime as nickname

  • @AimlessAnger

    dio-vocals

    kurt cobain-rhythm guitar

    dimebag darrell- lead guitar

    paul grey- bass

    the R.E.V- drums

  • @vicjoshua what about hendrix :O?

  • @vicjoshua I agree with this except the drums part, i would have to say Jon Bohnam. But otherwise good look at it. would be one hell of a concert!

  • @clemmerlamb i agree with you a 100% cuz i have t least5 posters n my room 3 with Kurt on it and when ppl come their like who the fuck is that and im like..you wouldnt no him cuz this stupid shit they call music today ruined good music like he played

  • @clemmerlamb And that is when you beat the shit out of her and lock her in a room with non-stop grunge so that, with some ammount of luck, she might have a realization of what good music really is.

  • @clemmerlamb damn i hate people like u am 13 and listen to nirvana .... so what i dont care how old you are... but nice taste ^^

  • @clemmerlamb it's not fucking dead and if I don't make it on American Idol and tear it upsidedown with my blistered fingers and soar throat i'm going to fucking post videos on here and make you guys watch it cuz i'm tired and playing and singing 6 hours a day with no recognition and pussy band mates who pick up a guitar and put it down 10 minutes later. I will change the genre music or I WILL DIE TRYING.

  • @ninetyninenightmares dude i do the same thing but actually have a mix of a voice between lemmy and kurt

  • @clemmerlamb you're awesome. stay that way. you found the truth. you found rock n roll.

  • @clemmerlamb Grunge will never die

  • @clemmerlamb

dude grunge music never existed, it was just a term used to sell records to idiots in the 90s. lady gaga and justin bieber came years after, try looking up bands like everclear, THEY ruined ''grunge''

  • @clemmerlamb OMG we have the exact same life

  • @clemmerlamb It is he same exact story for me

  • @clemmerlamb Uhh, grunge didn't die because of those two, it get's no media attention these days, there are plenty of amazing bands but you have to look past the mainstream world of music which is hard to do, I am glad that decent alternative/industrial/grunge is kept out of the media as it stops it from being over exposed. Bands like Nirvana only tend to look at a particular audience to like them.

  • @clemmerlamb dude grunge is breaking through again cause i have a grunge rock band now

  • @aftershock1231 What are you called?

  • @clemmerlamb same here dude im 17 all my friends listen to lil gay wayne and all that shit. Grunge is where it's at!!

  • @clemmerlamb - Little dude, trust me, music and grunge are not dead, there is just a monumental lack of talent around at the moment. It's great to know that you are one of the next generation of kids that listens to Nirvana, therefore the legend of Kurt, Dave and Krist live on!

  • @Buttercanes22 dude you dont believe how right you are

  • @Buttercanes22 right on! grunge and rock in general ( besides bubble gum rock) lives on

  • @Buttercanes22 Good sir I hope you are right because we have had no evidence to the contrary over the last 12 years or so and I don't know how much longer rock can go without a real movement.

  • @clemmerlamb AMAZING! You are just like me =) I'm 13 and I'm the only kid around the school that actually listens to music... It's SOO rare to find someone like this! ^-^ kurt was surely a legend but then he died and left us on this world where music is just for earning money... but some people with good taste on music still remain, that's soo good to know =D

  • @clemmerlamb Rock the fuck on man exactly the same as mee coz im 13 2

  • @clemmerlamb when people go into my room, and see my posters of kurt, and they dont know who he is i tell them to get the fuck out. he's the fuckin best.

  • @clemmerlamb aswell im a alittle younger and people don't understand why i love nirvana/kurt.... people need to learn to come as they are and not try to act fake.... <3 kurt and nirvana

  • @clemmerlamb A-men

  • @clemmerlamb ur the ONLY PERSON? bull

  • @clemmerlamb She would have been out my door lol...

  • @clemmerlamb

    pardon me....

    but BULLSHIT

  • @clemmerlamb im 13 and im the only at my school who actually listens nirvana... ALSO ME!

  • @clemmerlamb

amen..... i feel the same way in school

  • @clemmerlamb indeed, i like your statement, me too, i listen to nirvana since i was 10 and i been a ig fan until now..and my classmates at school are really strange to what im listening to music, they ask what is it , i said nirvana, who's that? my heroes, i hate that bieber kid too..

  • @clemmerlamb kid, im 15 and almost every day at school last year i had an argument with my english class about how nirvana is the shit, and no one knows who kurt cobain and krist novoselic is, and i have to tell you: keep on rockin man, COBAIN IS GOD!!!!!

  • @ceyoungs false he was interestingly amazing both ways.. and why would you be here?

  • @clemmerlamb

Wow... I'm 13, only one at my school that likes him has a cobain poster from ROllingstones mag. My friend asked me the same, He replied "Oh I listen to Lil Wayne" I replied "Get out my house"

WOOHOOO COBAIN ALL THE WAY!! He got me to pick up guitar 2 years ago. So happy :) Thanks Kurt and R.I.P.

  • @PizzaBlade17 "Get out of my house"

    Fuquin awesome.

  • @GoodMonster786

Yup! No posers allowed in my house!

  • @clemmerlamb the funniest part was when he said "i listen to justin bieber"

  • @clemmerlamb Awesome statement

  • @clemmerlamb Well said, i know what you mean, no one appreciates this music anymore and no will ever be able to repeat music like Kurt Cobain. i think we have to now say that this kind of music is gone.

  • @clemmerlamb and I have a poster of death and Chuck Schuldiner is there

you don't even who is probably because Nirvana is a really known band and it killed many other genres in the 90's (thrash metal would be an example) just like lady gaga and justin bieber did in tha late 00's and now although Nirvana was actually a good band.

  • @clemmerlamb wow ur coool!! I know one of my freinds said that i neede to be "educated" because i dodnt know who some crappy "music artist" was !!!

  • @clemmerlamb I agree with you but, then again to be honest, music isnt dead its just not shown on mainstream television any more. Our generation is doomed, Facebook, Black Berrys and a love for shit music. Bring back no internet, sd tvs and good music.

  • @clemmerlamb Cobain was a druggie kid, a self proclaimed reject to society, and a guy who killed himself. What is great about any of that? He had talent, so what, God gave him talent, he threw it away. This guy is a legend of failures, find someone better to look up to.

  • @Ironwind1972 LOL YOU FAIL... Ironwind? Ohh because thats a cleaver name i bet mostly all of the world knows who you are but seeriously before you want to talk

shit about Kurt Cobain make a name for yourself and then talk shit, more people listin that way :)

  • @TezzieStonechild You show your age and/or intellect. You don't need a name in this world to see a failure in life. He was a selfish, druggie, who loved himself more than his child, so much so he killed himself leaving his child without a father and a loser for a mother. That's not talking crap young lady, that's speaking the truth. Am I the message or the deliverer. Who's more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows the fool, lead on Kurt, lead on ol' boy.

  • @clemmerlamb damn i would hate to be you and i would bitch slap the fuck out of her 4 not knowing nirvana

  • @picklenote22 I feel bad for that kid too and would hate to be her too but its not cool to bitch slap another little kid who was born like 10 years after he died for not know thats just wrong to bitch slap anyone i mean these are little kids she should just educate her friend and im sure the friend will end up realizing justin bieber and lady gaga and all the other shit music that little kids hear on the radio these days is just that...shit music (actually not even music) and will like nirvana.

  • @findingarainbow ok yeah take out the slapping but be kinda questioning why she wouldnt know and yeah she needs to educate ur school .

  • @clemmerlamb that is the same thing with me dude, finally somebody else is out there whose the same, everybody always asks what im listening to when i play Nirvana on my stereo because they only know Smells Like Teen Spirit, it gets annoying

  • @clemmerlamb LOL IM 13! and im the only kid hoo listens to nirvana at my skool people always ask me hoo he is....FINALLY SOMEONE GETS ME!

  • @clemmerlamb

Comments like these are getting on my nerves.Look,it's great that you like Nirvana and not dig
