god the yamaha triples sound amazing..and to adjusting ur track tension you loosen the back right weel and then tighten the bolts at the bad of the skid..to get at the bolts you put the wrench through the holes in the track were it meets with the sliders

has anyone ever had a problem with their viper or srx where u give it a lot of gas and spins in the snow.. but when it grips hard my skidoo has a couple violent shakes.. then i let off the gas, any idea of what it is i would really like some feedback.!

those violent shakes are your track jumping/ratcheting all you need to do is tighten the track. the adjusters are at the back of the suspention.

the track is at 30mm and that as tight as it should safely go.. could is be the track bearings? the slides? i dunno wtf it is but its getting worse and pizzing me off. it even happens now when i give it gas on hardpack snow.. .....

thats your track jumping it needs to be tightened give it 4 or 5 turns each side...other option is your bearing gone on the driveshaft tip the sled on its side and look...

The 2 adjustable straps underneith the track they keep the sled on the ground,if loosened,it will lift highter..... what did u do to ur sled ? i know mbrp can i have that it sounds the same, but what elase was done ?

No i didn't loose them, just find som soft snow and some good cluth kit then you can get it up.

tp167 on ur 1st commment...I really hope ur yamaha XTC 700 triple sounds exacltly like that...the SXR,XTC,and SX all have the EXACT same engine...just different suspensions....i have a yamaha SX 700 triple pipe.....SOUNDS ABOUT 3x LOUDER THAN THIS VIDEO....gotta love the tickets for loudness....hehe
