As this video will show you, Scourge wasn't always green. And he wasn't always called "Scourge". He used to blue and he used to go by the name of Evil Sonic (Anti-Sonic).

Even if you read the comics to find out, you wont get any information of what they did. Looking at the vid won't really help either. It just says that they had a nap. This comic is meant to target more of the younger viewers. So anything like that won't be avoided.

The targeted audience has changed though compared to how the comic was when it started.

But Yea, Scourge is one of the few characters who actually curses in the comics. Another character would be Nack the Weasel. I know that I have seen others curse, but I can't seem to remember who.

I noticed that the animators kept changing Scourge's design. When he first arrives, he dawns darker glasses, a plain dark blue jacket, a personality like a 1950s gangster, and, like mentioned before, is less evil. Now he's wears an open motorcycle gang like jacket red shades and is more evil than he was before.

It's too bad Scourge's role with Sonic's adventures died out in the comics. I guess Sega decided that Shadow the hedgehog could easily fill in Scourge's place as Sonic's rival and evil twin. So much for the efforts of the cartoonists who worked hard to keep Scourge alive in the series

Scourge's role as the main villian has been a long one, but to keep things fresh in the comics, they need to switch the main villian to Eggman and Dimitri.

Scourge will be back, and he will still be a villian. He will just make small comic appearances.

Shadow is not really Sonic's evil twin. And I dont think Shadow will be appearing the Archie comic's Sonic the hedgehog comic anytime soon. Shadow will most likely be in the new comic, Sonic Universe, for right now.

Some how Scourge seems a little less evil in the old comics. And his facial expressions are different in the newies.

This is true. In the older comics, they were targeting a younger audience. They didnt want to portray something too evil for the kids (even Robotnik was a little less evil in the old comics). Now, the comics are aimed at a older audience.

You can see Scourge (and Fang) occasionally cursing in the comics (censored, but you can still tell), some characters have actually died in the comic, and things like cheating girlfriends (Fiona) are shown here.

In the Archie Comic version of Sonic the Hedgehog, there are many different universes. Because of that, there are so many different versions of Sonic the Hedgehog. The main 3 are Sonic Prime (the main Sonic), Scourge (Anti-Sonic) and Zonic the Zone Cop.

So Scourge is just a different version of Sonic from a different universe (Moebius).

It was issue 194 where he was thrown back. But he is purple, wait till issue 195. Since he is in the cover of issue 196, most likely the transformation to Super Scourge will appear in issue 195.

uh......No, that is the "fan" version of him. The official colors of Super Scourge are purple fur with red eyes (white part of his eyes are replace with black)

yea, when Super Scourge was not revealed yet, that is what some people thought. The official coloring is purple, which I believe that they looked at the Color Wheel when they decided the color. The reason why is because if you look at a color wheel, on the other side of yellow is purple.

Sort of, more of a mutiny. They were all planning on attacking Scourge, they just needed more help. They all thought that if they gather together, Freedom Fighters and Suppression Squad, they can all defeat Scourge without much effort.

That only angered Scourge and the plan failed. Scourge, with Fiona, was defeating them all. Only until Sonic came out of nowhere and Boomer attacked Sonic & Scourge from behind, were they able to stop Scourge. Long enough to send him back to Moebius with Sonic
