Jesus, tone down the effects a little bit, They drown out any possible technique you may be using. I mean I'm not saying your bad but when you use so many effects it gets to a stage where amazing playing and hitting the strings with a jackhammer sound the same, so how can I tell the difference

Seriously, i'm not a big fan of old metal stuff like Maiden, Sabbath... But I know many riff about them! I'm more Deathcore/Metalcore/Technical Death Metal.

@doulittle You probably haven't found "that" song yet. I wasn't into maiden and sabbath until I found "that" song that hooked me on to them. For Maiden it was both The Phantom of the opera and Flight of The Icarus. And for sabbath it was War Pigs. And don't even get me started on Priest.

My gear is a Boss GT-8. I if you want the same sound has me, go on fx-2 and pick the sound harmonizer. Go to the parameter and put the harmonizer sound at three' put metal distortion and now you've got it!
