@OilTheGun yeah you can't go wrong with either one...i do like the looks of the redhawk alaskan but 8 rounds of 357 probably wins my vote...im picking up my Glock 17 today! was thinking of getting a sig 229 but it was to damn expensive compared to the glock...my decision was even if i bought a sig 229 i would still want a glock in my collection so i went with the glock 1st :)...im thinking of joining gssf also...my next gun has to be a revolver...

@XtreamVII Iv'e heard good things about them. Easier to find in 44mag. I don't have one in 44 bc they don't offer the unfluted cylinder. Rugers are built like tanks and will last a life time, in my opinion. All the best.
