nowadays i'd go with carbon fiber and aluminum braces and rods

it would weigh like a 1/10 of what this mount weighs

and you can mold it so all you need are screws not even brackets needed

or even fiber glass so cheap and durable and lightweight...

I would of melted a peice of plastic at the right angle and put a 1/4"

screw thru it and zip locked it onto the skids keep it light man

Very impressive! I am just about to graduate into single rotor collective pitch myself.. My hero 2 will be anticipating its first flight on a blade 450 3D, once i have learned and mastered enough skill to warrant such a flight.. I am particularly impressed with the mount. I hadn't taken into consideration the large amount of unwanted vibrations. I am considering a 8 way spring style mount, when the day comes.. Cheers mate!

@Xvinity831 he said that he is using that Heli, he is just showing how is the mount that he made specifically for that camera, he made it in aluminum because 1) Is not heavy 2) transports the vibration from the helicopter away from the camera, that´s why the shots are so clean and good, be good!
