  • I love how you said to drink water with a straw and you will drink more... its sooo true. I tried it today, and I've drank twice as much water than usual. I feel like I chug it with the straw in a situation where id only get one or two sips in just picking the bottle up itself. Thank you for all your tips, you are so helpful!

  • i'm trying to write all this shit down... i need to hire you. or we need to have a private lesson. i know i have heard this or knew this but it is hard for me to re train myself to eat.. i guess once i do it and be consistent with it, it will become easier. but i have two little girls and i need more energy they are wearing me out and i am so out of shape. i exercise but nothing is happening so i know i need to change the way i am eating.

I think that's where people mess up they go back to their normal way of eating and they tend to gain the weight back, but I love the videos and tips and I myself am working towards losing and changing my eating habits because like you said it's a way of life not a diet.   • I love me some Turkey sausage and turkey bacon. ummmm and a big ass Turkey leg. you know there is hardly any calories in a big ol fat, neanderthal turkey leg. Like the ones at Six Flags.

    I don't even keep grease in the house. I had family over and i had to go into town just to by some grease so they could fry some chicken, Ha!!

  • Ground Turkey is the bomb! It's the truth. You are right, the serving sizes are important. Healthy food is more filling than unhealthy food, and that's why our servings have gotten out of proportion because unhealthy food leaves us still hungry in 30 minutes. You are giving great advice.

  • Go to Starbucks and get the Carmel Frap light in Venti 270 calories baby and it's larger than McDonald's.

    In the winter to sub coffee get the Starbucks Carmel Apple Spice. It is wonderful and 300 calories for Venti size.

  • @Tippy2forU oh my goodness 270 calories for a cup of coffee? that is CRAZY!!!!!!!!! My meal replacement drinks aren't even 270 calories and my shakeology has actual nutritional value.

    wowsiers. I only get coffee from strbucks, I actually make my starbucks at home too.

  • @ibqtubu: It is the largest Frap size not a cup of coffee. It isn't a cup. It is 270 for the venti. I think that is the 20 ounce. McDonalds is 600 calories in a Frap for a 12 ounce. Starbucks I better and it taste better.

    Try the caramel apple spice. It is pretty good.

Black people really need to watch what we eat because we are more prone to strokes, heart attacks, diabetes, hypertention and certain cancers. I just wanted to say to try to throw some green drinks in there, more organic food (I know it's more expensive and it sucks) and more raw food too, but you did mention some raw food...it's excellent for you. I could listen to you talk all day. You are hilarious girl and I love your accent...LOL.

  • Yes the frappe is the shyt, If i were you i would stay away from the strawberry nana smoothie, OMG i found out they got like 44 grams of sugar. We also gotta check the sugar content. enough sugar to make 2 jugs a koolaide and then some but i loved them too, had to cut them out.   • You are soooo on point with all of this!! Get yourself a kitchen scale too so you really know how much you're eating. I drink green tea too with Splenda that's supposed to help with weight loss. That's so true that your body keeps telling you that you're hungry when you eat junk cause it's craving vitamins. Every time I eat bad stuff I'm starving a few hours after. Eat fruit and veggies and you stay satisfied.

  • sorry, but i'm pretty sure if u would eat less meat, that would help a lot! you should eat meat only like 1-3 times a week!

  • A serving size should be the palm of your hand. If it fits in the palm of your hand thats how much of whatever it is you should eat. And put your food on a small plate. It will fill the plate up and make you feel like your eating more than what you really are. Just a few suggestions.

  • You are so right on the points you made in this video. It's all about eating RIGHT. I lost 60 pounds just from eating all the right things AND exercising to keep your metabolism up. One pound is equal to 3500 calories, there was no way you could have gained 5 pounds after eating that popcorn...lol. Your weight in the morning is usually about 5-6 pounds lighter than if you weighed later on. Us as women retain a little more water than men and plus we have more fat too.
