1. We shouldn't expect to find the geological column nicely stacked up, anywhere. I've presented you with two examples anyway.
2. Even so, this doesn't mean we can't accurately compile geologic strata from multiple locations.

First off, there are plenty of religious evolutionary biologists. It isn't a cult. And it isn't a strictly secular science.
Second, evolution is a scientific theory, surmounted from documented evidence. Creationism is pure doctrine. Which is the detriment to education?
