Ever heard of cabinet screws? I think people here are only trying to help you, man. Don't get offended, you're obviously doing this completely wrong. For starters, you screw the cabinets to each other first, then you fasten them to the wall. And invest in some cordless tools, it will really help you out.
@JimiGumba how can you be a 25 year veteran aprentice? after 5 years or so you become pro! so you mean to tell us that you are still an aprentice after 25 years experience? hahahah i wonder when you gonna turn pro? mebie never cuz you are taking too long! mabie its the doo rag!
........I sent this link over to all of my installers to show them "How Not to Install Cabinets" Taking your time results in a clean and sharp looking job well done! BTW... Wall cabinets are always installed first.... then the base cabinets. God bless you guys for trying. It is a rewarding trade as I have found out! Good luck!
oh man...nobody cares what you would have done...who are you again? Why are you here?....damn why am I here? And your installers can suck the business end of my screwdriver. And how many customer balls have you blown in the last 32 years?
Only professionals do it right! Only immature kids speak as you do! Rushing a job is a sign of nervousness and insecurity. Taking your time results in a professional job well done. It is a shame that these installers were not trained correctly. Slow down good buddy and things will get better for.
As a master carpenter for 32 years, I wouldn't hire this guy to hang my cabinets if he did it for free! Using the right tools is essential and by scratching up the new cabinets is unacceptable. If I caught any of my installers setting their power tools or any harware directly on the customers newly purchased cabinets they would first have to deal with me as I care about the overall appearence of the completed job. The poor "helper guy" seems so unhappy with his job!
@dannyabq1 You really need to watch your language there mr. Jimi...... If you say you a veteran apprentice "professional" then you would have some respect right? Obviously not. All I wanted to do was to see how you hang cabinets the CORRECT way without RUSHING as you do! I realize that awful noise was the cluth of the driver however I KNOW the noise of stripping screws very well as I do it all the time. Why don't you just admit it and be a professional as you say!
3:20 I think you can let go now!!!

I was a installers helper for years......
This helper is great at standing there.........
I guess I was an over achiever.
The cabinet will hold itself after 1 screw is put in. Geeeze, 6 screws later, and the helper is still holding it up!

Stupid question,
Why aren't screws put in the roof of the cabinets to secure it to the ceiling/bulkhead above? Or did I miss something

wow, nice job countersinking and hiding the screws, some people care about that, and the joint didn't look very flush.

good idea marking the studs with the laser instead of having to transfer the stud marks on the inside ofr the cabinet.
