I think Doberman are better at this sport than GSD. Doberman are just more agile. BTW beautiful Doberman, that has to be a European Doberman.

There's little to compare. Dobies do have Rottie in their lineage, but infusions of German Pinscher (terrier) and Old German Shepherd have given them an intelligence and mental sharpness beyond what the Roman butchers dog could ever dream of. I think some people believe there is more Rottie in Dobes than is actual, because of the black and tan. The coloring comes from more than one ancestor.

Rotties are sweet, but they're plodders, mentally and physically.
