Very true. I spent several years working for mortgage companies so I know what I'm talking about. Predatory lending is not "lending money to those who can't repay". Predatory lending is the use of unfair and abusive loan terms that make it nearly impossible for ANYONE to repay.

This whole crisis is a result of Democrats and fellow travelers. It was a demand by the Democrats that mortgage loans be made to high risk borrowers as a matter of fairness, and HUD regulations demanded that banks be more aggressive in lending subprime.
