I agree the 60s/70s/80s delivered some of the absolute best. Even into the early 90s. But those 3 decades in particular. I don't know what it was about that timespan, but music was really changing all the time and it was really exciting. A lot of great sounds came out of it!

Anyway, this When in Rome band got a classic one-hit wonder. They made it to the top in the hit´parade pf the late 80's Have they made it evet since? Soon after this great success??, Unfortunately They didn't. I completely agree upon Erikther9. Most 80's tunes got a very distinctive beat and rythmn which the "new music" is lacking. No suprise, no new proposal, no risks taken. There you have The Black eyed Peas who just sing "oldies" to have an "incredible success"Same lyricis as 30 years ago.
