Incubus wrote very good music back in the days. But unfortunately Morning View was their last good record. I can't listen to any of their stuff written after it...
Old Incubus is amazing.. but SO IS THE NEW STUFF! Their music isnt a war between Drik and Ben fans. &Its a a trash fest of idiots who they've "sold out". Their music is simply amazing. A band that stays the same over 13 or however many years its been isnt a band that is open to new things. I bet that in 1997 they could groove like they do now with Ben. Just shut up and enjoy incubus.
InCuBuS are like a fine wine. They just get better with age. These early albums are still pure class but i just think that they have grown up and there image has changed along with that. It seems each album changes ever so slightly with the odd track that sends you back to S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Fungus. Its their ability to change the way they want to go without commercialising themselves and keeping their original fanbase (and still creating new fans) that makes them one of the best bands ever.

Damn , I discovered them opening for Korn (The Urge was also on the bill) in February 1997 in Toulouse , south of France. The place was packed and if you were jumping you would get stuck with your feet above the ground because there were so many people.
That night I thought they were actually better than Korn.
@TheBlackmetalhead: Latino and Italian folks are considered white to most people. The only time I ever saw a difference was in jail where everyone gangs up. And I was just making an assumption, it didn't matter if there were black people in Incubus for years and years until Ben Kenney came in and butchered all their old school songs and made the new basslines sound like poopy, I always thought Kilmore was just as good as LYFE, or better so whatever...

@TheBlackmetalhead: Latino and Italian folks are considered white to most people. The only time I ever saw a difference was in jail where everyone gangs up. And I was just making an assumption, it didn't matter if there were black people in Incubus for years and years until Ben Kenney came in and butchered all their old school songs and made the new basslines sound like poopy, I always thought Kilmore was just as good as LYFE, or better so whatever...
