  • @Redneckamerican5792 To each his/her own brother.

  • i have a question for Big J. And thanks once again for your feedback and videos. It motivates me and I'm sure the Big J fans. This happened to me today, failed at finishing my workout. No intensity or concentration. After one hour I left. Has this happened to you.

  • @nevraXmike Plenty of times brother. And it will happen again. Don't worry brother. Count it up as another day at the office and make the next day a better one. Stay motivated!!! It's the only way to grow

  • @nevraXmike an hour is a long time to be training, keep it short and very intense, helps me out with motivation, lol hope big j agrees cause this works very well for me. and im still sore as shit the next day.

  • @1991cupid Agreed brother. I do spend over an hour in the gym but almost half of that is spent warming up and stretching. The other half is spent CRUSHING the weights with INTENSITY!!

  • @nevraXmike by short i mean approx 30-45 mins but whatevere works for u dude

  • @1991cupid Mine go for a little longer than a hour, Once I complete my weight lifting i do 30 min of cardio. I;m trying to cut. Thanks for the advice.

  • @nevraXmike ah i throught you meant weights for over an hour dude, myself i do 30-45 mins of weights and 30mins cardio

  • Happy New Year to both of you,and good luck Seth:-)

  • @AcesfullKK Happy New Year to you brother and thanks for the support.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness Wicked, defo will stay tuned:)

  • @spartan30092 Agreed

  • Seth - the thing that added 50lbs onto my deadlift in a few months, was glute-ham raises..... strengthens all the muscles in the glute (max/minor etc) .. try glute ham raises

  • @steven288 Great advice Steve. He's just initiated that to his training recently.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness - well, bigger weights are coming soon........... :)

I'd love to come to Texas, been to the usa twice... but, no bodyscanners or enhanced patdowns for me

  • 6:27 lmao

  • @xxxpurexxxstrength Ha, ha.

  • @crips4laf Stay tuned, give a list next video.

  • where is your gym located??

  • @TheRower94 Texas, USA

  • 600lb Deadlift not impressive? Seth seems really humble! Cool video!

  • @OrangeHealthReviews Seth's a great workout partner. Thanks for the support.

  • that star wars thing was pretty funny XD

  • @mayhemusic100 One day I'll have a Darth Vader mask!!

  • Man, Is it good to see your strong faces.

    Keep my motivation running!

  • @Terry3571 Glad to help brother.

  • I am not hating at all this is just my opinion:

Being a strongman seems quite dangerous, like deadlifting a huge weight with no care for form? Asking for back problems.

I will stick with bodybuilding, less dangerous and you look great.

Again, not hating - to each their own!

  • @AtoZyzzyva Completely understandable. Thanks for your input.

  • Comment removed

  • Good shit man.

  • @DeterminedXV Thanks brother.

  • Haha, luke im your father!

  • @alekzander93 Ha, ha.

  • Great interview - Love the raw footage thrown in there.

  • @FUSIONBODYBUILDING Thanks Chris

  • 600lb deadlift yeah not impressive........?!?!?!??! xD im happy with my 65lb deadlift^^

  • @Deutschehordenelite Ha, ha. Keep working brother. Your almost there.

  • Great video Seth is a real cool guy best of luck ..... I dont think a protein bar is bad for breakfast after a morning shake ...

  • @curry33343 Thanks brother. Yes, Seth is a great workout partner and really cool dude.

  • I wish we had a gym like yours around where I live but the high and mighty people around the Nations Capitol would freak out if there wasn't air conditioning when they work out. I think the best gym session that I had was when the ac went out in my gym and everyone that was there actually looked like they were working out. Mainly cause it was 80 degrees instead of the 69 that it normally is. Long live the hardcore gyms

  • @jaymedina04 Yes brother..........I'd be pulling the breaker every workout I could. Long live the "Hardcore Gyms" INTENSITY RULES. Thanks for the support.

  • I would be right along with you with the penut butter and jelly division. I think that should be an option at the Olympia. You got the 212's the open and the PB&J hell yeah!!!!

  • @jaymedina04 I'd be top 5 in the PB and J division every year!!

  • I like strongest man competitions. Actually Zydrunas Savickas, if you now him, is from my country and he is also my neighbour, so in some way I feel close to this sport, lol. So, anyway, good luck Seth in this sport.

  • @Sciii1 Awesome. You should try to train with him and film it sometime!!

  • Great stuff.

  • @lordlucifer Thanks brother.

  • A transformation to the lower teens bf video with seth would be awsome and would like to see how a higher power to weight ratio effects his comps

  • @wrusst Probably not going to happen anytime soon per the interview brother. Thanks for your input.

  • great vid guys and im looking forward to see how Strongman Seths comp goes, keep it up

    your boy, Will

  • @wmontano8 Will def try to get some footage on my channel if I'm still in country. If not be sure to subscribe to his channel. I'm sure he'll have some coverage.

  • Both u guys are fuckin awesome. This is the best YouTube fitness channel by far. Are you going to get footage of Seth's competition at all?

  • @medasco143 Thanks brother. Will def try if I'm around. If not be sure to subscribe to his channel. I'm sure he'll have coverage of it.

  • I like this guy alot now

  • @johnsnips Now you see why he's the chosen one John!! Ha, ha.

  • Nice interview, and a cool Punisher skull tattoo

  • @Taratuncho Thanks brother. He see's these comments but I'll make sure to pass your compliment on.

  • lmao 6:26

  • @MvP1292 Ha, ha.

  • Great video ! what exactly does he mean by high reps, heavy weights ? more sets with heavy weight ?

  • @murphystacks Not really. We just use the same weight in a high rep scheme that we would in a low rep scheme. In example. 405 for 10 reps instead of a 2-4 rep range. This is know as "Forced Reps" unless there is a spotter present it's very dangerous but if done safely and properly will surely add tons of strength and muscle mass.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness Thanks Big J, keep the videos coming man !

  • Strong dude !!

  • @ela9300 Yes he is!!

  • Great interview. He seems like such a likable guy as well and the dieting part is so funny. It's harder for married guys to say no to cookies anyways it seems haha.

  • @snoochpounder He's really a very mean guy and it's hard to be around him...Ha, ha. He's tne nicest guy I've ever worked out with.

  • Great video! Be sure to check out my new channel guys, i'm a 15 year old non-competetive bodybuilder looking to go competetive, and unlike that ian douchebag i don't commit cyber-suicide and bash bigger, more popular channels. but anyways more views and subscriptions would mean the WORLD to me! Keep up the great work big J!

  • @PumpIronFitness Thanks for the support. Subscribed!

  • i reallly wanna see seth cut down just once, hed be so jacked haha!

  • @thirdbreath He's not interested per the interview, but thanks for your support brother.

  • @motionman0 it's at metroflex Houston.

  • 270 and 6'1 DAMNNNN

  • @itsCONTROVERSY HUGE!

  • sick video BigJ!

  • @Colyers Thanks brother.

  • What a great interview BigJ! I was able to figure out that Seth is doing a strongman comp. in 2 weeks. Jan. 14th. But where?

  • @motionman0 Metroflex Houston brother. If you are in that area be sure to swing down there.

  • LOL at the mask, loved it.

  • @hercule50 Ha, ha.

  • Great interview. I never got what is the big difference between strongman and powerlifter? Also BigJ my rotator cuff is awful and I have been doing stretching and tightening exercises to get the back to normal. It has been a while and they are slowly getting better, but I still can't do normal shoulder or chest days because of them. Should I do rotator cuff things before working chest and shoulders? I heard some people say it's great while others tell me do not since it will weaken the shoulder

  • @boby6 Not a lot. Heavy weights, Lots of reps was where he was going with that. YES brother. Participate in tons of Physical Therapy exercises, rotations and warmup to get the blood into the injured area with lots of stretching as well. Asl long as you are not re injuring yourself you are doing it good.

  • Too bad your in it for the strong man competition. If you were to cut bodyfat you would look like a beast!

  • @ItsJR516 He's a beast in Strongman competitions.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness Im sure he is! Hes strong as hell.

  • Peanut butter and jelly are legit as hell!!!!

  • @Gooknukem Absolutely!! Think I'll eat two right now.

  • keep up the hard work seth, ur the man

  • @rampagetapout Thanks for your support brother.

  • Thanks for the interview. Good luck Seth

  • @nevraXmike Our pleasure. Thanks Mike.

  • peanut butter jellys too fukin legit. the one and only thing i miss so far while cutting :( i swear i could live off of it

  • @xedis7 Yes, the force is strong within the PB and J!!

  • Another geat vid BigJ thanks alot man :)

  • @MrJoey1498 Our pleasure brother.

  • Hey Seth grow the moustache to get a full beard. The Bazara beard just doesn't look right unless your doing black ops in the middle east.

  • @omfggoogle What do you think he does in between videos??

  • lol that's not a "darth vader mask"

  • @TheeUnstoppableOne Ha, ha. I'll have a Darth Vader mask one day......Wait and see!!

  • Seth's reaction to your breathing was PRICELESS! I love you guys, awesome video!

  • @danielnator Thanks brother.

  • Seth eats BEASTS

  • @KainanRa Exactly

  • Great interview. I bet NOBODY bullies Strongman Seth now.

  • @tazzpower I do on occasion but not too long. He always outlifts me.

  • what a fucking cool guy!

  • @andrewp369 Thanks brother.

  • Thanks so much for this Big J. Feel like Seth has been properly introduced now

  • @sinz187 Our pleasure.

  • hey Big J I wanted your thoughts on over training. I am 22 and i train four days and take a day off and four on and day off and soo forth... for example, mon: back and abs, tues:chest and biceps, wed: legs, thru: shoulders and triceps and fri: off. I train heavily and mostly compound movements. Am i doing too much?

    Thank you

  • @happy402 Depending on your goals and what you are trying to achieve from that schedule. Simple answer is if you are growing and recovering then no.

  • Seth seems really cool and humble!!

  • @lambo5277 He's a good faker.....He's really mean and unruly. Ha, ha. No, he's a great guy.

  • BigJ hopefully 2011 was a blast and heres to another year of mass and more intensity. Keep up the awesome vids, you never disappoint

  • @legend2kill Thanks brother.

  • Just out of curiosity, Do strongmen have more spinal and joint issues?

  • @GarethDavidWebb That's a loaded question brother. You'd be better answered with a google statistic. Each style of lifting will defend their own.

  • Hey Big J how did u get soo big and still have a visible 6 pack?

  • @6packbeast I bounce back and forth brother. When I get above 260 it starts to fade. When I deployed this summer I lost almost 20lbs so they were showing better. But in answer to your question. I competed in bodybuilding as a profession for 10 years straight over 20 years ago and developed my physique. I've struggled since to maintain.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness ur videos help me to continue to workout even harder, thanks Big J for responding, Im apply the same principal :)

  • YOU BETTER STAY IN THERE, CAZ WHEN IM OLDER IM GUNNING TO YOUR GYM J ! I WANNA TRAIN WITH THE BEAST!

  • @TheJimmystruggles Been here for almost 20 years. Don't really plan on going anywhere. Come on out.

  • pure strength!!

  • @kevinvongratsavai Agreed.

  • I wana Join BigJ's gym :(

  • @GarethDavidWebb Come on out brother.

  • Long time no see Big J!! Glad ur back ;)

  • @1147george Thanks brother. Way to be the first INTENSE comment!!

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness INTENSITY RULES BIG J!!
