You can buy the lens from NexTag/Yahoo or Ebay. However, it is better if you buy it from a brick and mortar store, because not all the lens might fit the camera.

Hi there,

When you record and try to upload to Youtube directly, it is in DV format and Youtube do not accept DV format. What you can do is to convert it to AVI by extracting the DV video to Movie Marker or iMovieHD. Hope that helps

Chew, we are having the same problem. We cannot import our video from the DXG-566V directly onto YouTube, nor can we import it onto MovieMaker. Can you be more specific about how to "extract the DV video to MMaker"? We are desperate, please help soon!

Also, the files we have from our DXG are in vwp format, not DV. We went to zamzar but they would not convert a vwp file to avi.

you need to convert it to an avi. file jsut download RAD video tools off of google and look at some tutorials on how to use it.

quite awhile. and when u run out of time just load the videos onto the computer than delete them.then u have as much time as u started out with!
