OK OK OK.. I can help everyone with this..Tom Laughlin, aka Billy Jack.. didnt do the fancy karate scenes.. His Instuctor Bong Soo Han, the world authority on Hapkido, did all the fancy kick scenes where Toms face is hidden.

I remember when my aunt took me and my cousins to see this movie while on a summer visit to NC. I was about 8 years old. Made me proud to be Native and was a hell of a movie. I walked around in two long ponytails a indian headband, mocs doing karate on my older cousin every chance I got! LOLOLOL
well I tried this same kick (around the house) and kicked off her cat eyeglasses the ones they used to wear in the 60's and 70's, mind you were are both girls. She was older. I got the crap beat out of me by my grandma with a platted switch ofcourse nd was put on punishment. My cousin walked around with a tape on the middle of her glasses to hold them together until she got new ones. Hehehehe. We are in our 40's now and she still get mad at me when I joke with her about it.
This stupid fat bastard deserved to be castrated. Fat old white troll motherfucker, reminds me of my mother's third husband, another waste of skin! Billy should have broken this cow's neck nobody would miss him!
A couple of cool fight scenes but the movie was sooooo corny! And the chick who played his girlfriend was in the running for the worst actress of all time! Just horrible.

The town Sheriff and his Deputies were harassing the Native Americans and Pacifist community living in the area. Billy Jack, bitter, back from Vietnam and half Indian himself, tried to abide by the pacifism at their request, including responding nonviolently in prior scenes. Sheriff and Buddies felt it was okay to assault and rape one of the Pacifist,causing Billy Jack went on a quiet, self righteous rampage of revenge.
Bad fight choreography: The guy got kicked on the left side of his head (Billy Jack's right), but fell on the same side. He should have been knocked to his right, and fallen on his right side. Also bad continuity: after getting kicked on the left side, he rubs the right side of his face.
Actually, Billy Jack's right foot goes in front, to his left, then raises up to the right side of the Sheriff and hits the Sheriff's right face; doing exactly what Billy described. It's a special Hapkido kick, similar to a right handed boxer with a surprise left punch. His stunt double, Hapkido Grandmaster Bong Soo Han, was the one actually being filmed. (Thus, the hat, being more than a trademark.)
You got it all wrong. He got kicked on the RIGHT side of this face and he fell to his LEFT, as he should. Billy's right leg goes up passed the right side of the guy's face and he snaps his leg back so the foot now travels the other direction from right to left and strikes the guy on his right side, knocking him to his left.
squaws with perms were all over the place throughout the 80's. I don't think they really had perms in the 60's when billy was kicking ass all cherokee like and what not.
The POINTS are these: 1) You are WAY too serious, get a life. 2) You only have 2 cheeks to turn(that is a New Testament reference), so sometimes all you have left is to fight fire with fire. 3) In the movie Billy defends those who cannot defend themselves, Old Man Posner deserves what he got.
