I've heard this is widely regarded as the WORST movie in the history of American Cinema. I also heard that Lugosi died during the filming of the movie, causing them to have to do some improvization.

I love Lugosi really and I think Ed Wood MEANT to be nice helping him with his bills, but man I feel horrible for the fact he had anything to do with the guy. If his unfortunate death did anything, it saved him from the shame of doing all of this travesty instead of just a small bit.

this horror sci fi historian who knows these films has his own website i honor of these horror gems or duds can tell you this stinker is a STINKER so bad its really good. what a cast poor lugosi poor talbot poor everyone. the plot cheap set the stock music yet its called the worst film ever? I think not ive seen much much worswe for different reasons. but PLAN 9 i have ion dvd. get it. its fun its a classic of the worst kind. it will outlive all of us like it or not. im history again.
