  • the beginning sounds a lot like walk of fame

  • @CAWJonfuckingMess The beginning is actually almost the exact same riff as part of the song "Semi-Fiction" It was meant to be part VI.

  • @muckyukkerman Dude, you're right!!! Now that i listen closely to it!!

  • @TheAngelOfDeath1110 Not something I figured out, something I learned, :P

  • This sound is effin clear.

  • im confused. ive got the ghostship ep, but it only has Ghostship 1,4,5 and Macaulay McCulkin. where can i find part 2 and 3??

  • @underscoreisnotvalid Ghostship 2 was released as part of the KEYS demo, it came with the original Part 1 and 5 as instrumentals. Ghostship 3 was never recorded, it was recorded from a live show introduced as Part 3. Look around on Google for Ghostship 2.

  • im really hi in a dark room, i wish the full screen was all black though

  • @Musicdudeyoutub LOL, do not remember writing that.

  • The Fall Of Troy are their own genre <3

  • I love these demo cuts but I absolutely prefer the remake. I love the way Tom's voice changed and the refinement of his already amazing guitar playing.

  • @irtehjoe i completely agree with you. finally someone who gets it

  • @irtehjoe I just wish they didn't get rid of the keyboardist... that would've been KILLER. He added so much to the music. It's a shame that it never caught on.

  • those opening screams in macaulay mcculkin should have never been changed imo

  • People stop downing on phantom on the horizon , real TFOT fans wouldn't keep comparing there songs and saying stuff like " oh the demos are so much better than the published versions" you should just stop hating and just enjoy the songs they make. And the reason they broke up was because people where complaining about how there new stuff wasent as good as the old material

  • Hell of a song \,,/-.-\,,/ Love it!!! Ever since they broke up ive been listening to them alout more then when they where together for some reason i dont know.

  • I think the demos have more character to them, if you know what I mean. You know they haven't been messed with as much as far as remastering goes. it sounds more like how they actually sound than how they sound after it's been polished. i prefer this to Phantom on the Horizon.

  • people that respect the fuck out of these demos are true bros

  • @GREENDIVISION YES. I think that the demos are some of the best that TFOT made.

  • Back then.. Thomas's Voice was so awesome when he singed and screamed. But now it got a little worse!!! BUT THOMAS ERAK IS A GOD OF GUITAR

  • "let go i know you're mine" sefinitely sounds wayyyyyy better in the demo

  • @miserablerodent Exactly!!! I hate Phantom on the horizon. Demos are better

  • @101gamerboy woooooooahhhhh now let's not get crazy haha. Demos are good and definitely have their high points that are better than PotH but overall in my opinion PotH is much cleaner and better sounding. I think people who like the demos respect the screaming aspect and PotH fans appreciate all the musical structure

  • @miserablerodent I personally like the singer better at times in the demos. It's like much more smoother cleans and crazier screams (PotH is much more mellow overall and the cleans don't have that tone as it did before.). I'll admit PotH is much more cleaner and I love it for that reason. But there are some things done in the demos that they cut out of PotH that I wish they didn't, for instance the organ part in this song.

  • @XAlphaZEROX Oh yeah, I absolutely agree. I like PotH better than the demos, but some things should've stayed. I know it's not exactly applicable, but the example that jumps to mind is the "YEAAAAAAAH!!!" that was in the Macaulay McCulkin demo, but not in the Doppelganger version. It sounded so nice.

  • omg

  • awesome

  • i really hate when people put like a 1 minute title in the begining of the song, we know the name, just start the song

  • @xXGreenDudeXx agree'd

  • @xXGreenDudeXx

    or 14 second......

  • @xXGreenDudeXx 14 seconds dude, shutup

  • @xXGreenDudeXx It's good too be creative dude.

  • @xXGreenDudeXx but this one was only 12 seconds lol

  • i'm not gay...but if i had to be...thomas would be my lover...

  • i really enjoy the mediocre sound quality and eraks vocals in this recording. it adds to the atmosphere the song gives. i cant stand the re recorded version of this song, it gives a whole different aura when listening to it.

  • @GhostCatLulz totally agreed.

  • i kind of enjoy erak's early vocals haha

    sounds very popish, but good

  • me too. the new versions got away from the emotion you can feel in the originals.

  • i like the keyboard in this version, both are awesome, its almost hard to choose

  • favorite <3

    ha

  • I love how you hear different parts from songs in here that made it onto the full albums. The beginning is pretty close in style to "The Circus That Has Brought Us". Don't get me wrong, I love it, just intresting to hear similarities.

  • I miss Tim Ward =(

  • he shouldnt have ben a crack head

  • Seriously I love this song, but i must admit, it isnt the prettiest vocals ever, well i like it when he is screaming and what not, but when he is saying the "ohhhhh" part, he sounds like a noob.

  • its do you know this is your blood not wine

    thats wat it sounds like

  • imo

    Part 1 Ghostship > Phantom

Part2 Phantom > Ghostship (except screaming)

    Part4 Ghostship > Phantom

    Part 5 Phantom = Ghostship

  • Despite him getting 3 thumbs down, I'm gonna go ahead and completely agree with jcwkings.

  • The screams on this version are so amazing!

  • but the clean singing kills the whole song...he has become so much better since then...

  • idk.

i think thoms singing in this song makes the song so special.

i hate the singing in a strange conversation.

  • Personal observations and comparisons between the two versions of this song:

I like the keyboard/organ in this version a lot.

Quality of Thomas's singing... let's just say it got better as he went along. However, the quality of Thomas's screaming in this: Top fucking notch.

Can't hear the guitar too well in this version during the verse parts, and that's a shame, since there's some nice stuff in there, as you can hear in the PTH version.

  • does anybody no if he says

you know this is your blood not mine

    or

you know this is your blood not wine

  • its "do you know this is your blood, not mine?"

  • ok, this is a weird string of comments, talking about gayness, hair, and trashing on lyrics, thats way too much BS for a great song

  • i wish i had hair like thomas ekar is so wavy i this pic but only in the b angs

  • an amazing band have always been. just keep getting better

  • From what i heard so far, in this part, the crew is supposedly turning into cannibals... sounds like it! :D

  • dis shit slaps

  • IM not trying to trash on tfot because they r my favorite band but if u look at the lyrics they r kinda dementing

  • That's what makes them fucking good.

  • lol

  • o god...maybe you should stick to your church sermons

  • fuck u buddy go suck ur fucking moms dick

  • obviously youre the gay one pal. talking about thoms wavy black locks and how you would like to caress them

  • way better on phantom then this

  • i think it depends on which you here first.

    for me at least

  • yeah i guess

i just think they changed this one in a positive way more then the others.

i've never heard ghostship 3 though..

  • neither have i

  • good to know im not the only one

  • ya...i just found out there is no part III...man i fell very stupid =\

  • well apparently some people have a live version but i cant find it anywhere

  • i have it, but it has terrible quality haha

  • whatever,

im satisfied with the phantom version

  • my bro gave me the GSD's a year ago and i'm offly certain there was a third on there.

love this song and fall of troy 2 death.

  • @FreshQRtis theres 5,well,at least there was in Phantom on the Horizon, which is the final version...

  • best chapter on Phantom.

  • soooo agreed

  • Next to chapter 4, lol.

  • indeed my friend. I would say more skill as well. they've improved.

  • the demo of phantom on the horizon is all the ghost ships

  • phantom on the horizon is the shyt

  • In my opinion, i believe this is the best Ghostship.

    ..Besides 1.

  • nevermind im a retard, this is gonna be on poth *shoot my self in the foot*

  • If they cleaned this up like the did to f.c.p.s.i.t.s.g.e.p.g.e.p.g.e.p. it could be a single no doubt. The end sounds a little like The Mars Volta without the obsessive amount of effects

  • I completely agree. they should do this when phantom on the horizon comes out

  • hahaha phantom on the horizon is exactly this!

    :D

it's all five of the ghostship songs. :]

  • all this time we thought there were seven ghostships, when in reality, semi-fiction was #6 and #7 isn't real (or at least it's not going to be recorded). boy did tfot have us fooled.

  • they just got lazy and forgot they still wanted to do a ghostship album (since they've been talking this shit up for years). they put semi fiction on manipulator because tom is retarded and tom=thefalloftroy in general so.....

i think they should have just left everything regarding the ghostships as they were. 1,2,4,5 recorded and 3 only live.

  • actually #7 is Macaulay Culkin.

  • you could speculate that, but they've never said that, plus, it makes no sense with the story line.

    it's possible but doubtful.

  • wasnt 7 straightjacket keelhauled???

im sure i heard that somewhere lol

  • k. i was looking for this and i found it.

in april/march 07' thomas officially stated that semi-fiction is part 7 and forebodingly lost is part 6. unfortunately i dont think anyone has heard or will ever hear forebodingly lost.

  • you can download the songs by just downloading these vids and converting them to mp3s..

  • the end made me cum on myself

  • could someone send me the mp3 for this

this is the only ghostsip song i dont have

  • maybesheforgot[dot]com

  • you can download parts I-V on maybesheforgot

  • All the parta are good

    no lie

  • prt 2 is the best

  • yeah 5 is the best :D

  • dammit i cant find this anywhere!

  • look up ghostship part 2 downloads on googe, there should be a site where you can get it. i have 1 2 4 and 5 so if anyone wants any of those message me through here and ill be happy to send it to you via email.

  • limewire

  • no dude...

Ghostship Part 3 is the best fucking song ever

  • part 4

  • besides where can you find part 3

  • I have a video of it on my page...

It's only been played live two or three times, but I know a secret place where you can get around 20 seconds of a recorded version of Part 3.

  • where?

  • Yeah, what?

  • the ghostship demos are some of the best music that fall of troy has ever made.

  • ya but doppleganger and manipulator are also some of the best music fall of troy has made :P

  • NO!

  • why is he in the negative comment zone he just said that opalganger and amniulater was also really good he didn't say it was THE best its just an opinion

  • To shed some light on all this...

These are demos for a record called Phantoms on the Horizon which is composed of 8 tracks, each named. There is indeed a Part VI that was played live on extremely rare occasions, but they decided to change the lyrics and put it on Manipulator as Semi-Fiction. Phantoms has been put off for some time and will continue to be put off, as the band has grown tired of it and is contemplating not releasing it at all.

  • i thought they were just demos at first that they made to show labels and then after they made self titled they though "maybe we should redo those demos into a real album"

  • Ghostship IV is the best one....

  • i agree

  • how does one come about finding this song? because i cant

  • do you mean like downloading it??

  • The key Ghostship songs are:

    I

    II

    IV

    Mccaulay McCulkin.

    It's my opinion, but w/e.

    Ghostship part IV owns btw.

  • Ghostship II is my favorite, but their all cool.

  • dont forget 5

  • I havent heard the Mcully Mckulkan (or however you spell it) ghostship version but i know there is one.

  • Macaulay McCulkin was just the fourth track on the original EP with the part I, IV, and V.

Semi-Fiction is apparently an older demo, which wasn't named until now, though not necessarily part VI.

I have a copy of the Ep with parts I,II,IV, and V all bleeding together as one huge song., it's awesome.

  • isnt part six macauly mcCulkin?

    im pretty sure

    almost positive

and i think they just re recorded it for doppleganger

  • oh my god, he says I ate you irt tasted so nice. Thats the most canible lyric I have ever heard in music besides Maralyn Manson.

  • i know isn't it awesome!?!?!

  • I like this ghostship, ghostship I and Ghostship V. Those are the best ones. IV isnt that great and ghostship III isnt recorded. Ghostship 6 hasnt been recorded either. The Pantom on the Horizon should be out late this year, i hope. I really cant wait.

  • Ghostship 6 is SemiFiction

  • the story this song illustrates is crazy...

  • this is probably my favorite of the ghost ships, III sounded good to live when i saw them but i wish they would have recorded that also.

  • this is such an underated song

  • isnt that because it doesnt appear on any albums? The ghostship demos only had 1,4, and 5.

  • Nice.
