I am not Indian, but I love Bollywood films and music. I have not seen the film (I mean this one, "Lamhe") , but I have had this song for many years; it is on my first Indian music cassette, which contains a compilation of Indian music from 1990 and 1991. Whenever I listen to this song I remember my first Indian song collection with pleasure. Apart, Sri Devi and Anil Kapoor are among my favourite actors of all times.

This is such a true statement! This movie was indeed too early for its time. I LOVED it. It is one of my favourite movies. Sridevi showed once again why she ruled as a screen goddess. So beautiful and whimsical. I think she is the true epitome of the term 'earth angel'And Anil I love him!! His performances are always so intense and realistic. A very talented actor. Together they made a powerful onscreen pair!

Yashji reached in the penacle of his career was after Chandni and Lamhe. He idn't have any successful films in the 80s, Silsila bombed at the box office, it was only Chandni which gave his first it of 80s. he had no successes after 1975.
