i like the some of the Japanese music but i grew up on the English music so i sort of like it better. Plus the English version used a lot of SKA music which is cool but the Japanese music is more powerful with the imagery. I truly think if the movies had been translated individually they would have been awesome.

Wow the story actually makes sense in this version. In the English dub we have this confused virus-infected digimon wandering the internet looking for its creator, and no one even tries talking to it. And then somewhere along the line of searching for Willis it decides to launch nukes, one of which is headed for Willis. In this version, Diaboramon is simply an evil digimon and all his actions are part of his "game" against the digidestined.

No way. I think the Japanese version did WAY better. In the English, they COMPLETELY ruined the dramatic feeling when Taichi sees War Greymon inactive. They had lame "tension" music and Sora NARRATING what was happening. Not needed IMHO. The Japanese version kept it simple: a moment of silence, then subtle yet powerful music. Definitely more appropriate AND made the movie less "kiddy" than it's American counterpart.

The American version is funnier but the soundtrack is really bad. I'm really not fond of these "epic" and "rock" songs that they always put in the dub version. Thank God I saw Digimon Adventure in Brazil and the soundtrack was the Japanese one.

The English dub uses rock and pop music to create a more dynamic feel, but the soundtrack and lack of certain voice-overs in this dub make it so much more intense and powerful. I smiled all the way through the dub, having fun, but this was so serious and mature, it was almost a whole new movie.
