Nice guitar, kp3 and kaossilator sounds. I play guitar, but am not afraid of progress. All you technophobes, get with the times! Use the tools at your disposal, this is good stuff well executed that not many people could pull off, this stuff is tricky. The KP3 effects compliment the guitar very well, and the synths on the kaossilator fit right in. Nice vid, bit scared of fist action though! But amusing!

I was talking about the KAOSS PAD,i.e the big black box with the red touchscreen, not the KAOSSILATOR. There are some guitar mods out there equipped with the KAOSS Pad 2, the smaller precursor to the one in the video. I know that the KAOSSILATOR is a standalone phrase synthesizer, which can only generate output, I have one myself.....

I have Logic Pro 8, a Fender Strotocaster guitar, Digitech foot pedal. I am running my guitar into my (continued) pedal, and then my pedal is hooked straight into my computer. So, I think I have pretty good equipment, but what am I missing? Why doesn't it sound have as good as a real band, say Linkin Park? What other equipment do they have that I don't?

All bands record their guitar tracks with TUBE amps. THey mic those and the mics are run into amazing preamps also with TUBES. DI GUitar with digital distortion is like a solid state amp, and that is the worst sounding creation in the world if its not 3000$.

not true. Tubes change in tone as they warm up, meaning that even though they sound good now, in 4 hrs they will sound different. Besides, most of us dont have 3000$ to blow on a stack.

yes true fool. Finding the right time for a tube is easy since there IS a good sound coming out of it at all times. I said 3000$ ss could rival a 300$ tube. Tubes are capapble of creating more frequencies and like you said, sound different at different times.
