George Monbiot is living in his own head not in reality. I have read his book Heat. By the 3rd page in he begins explaining the "science" behind "GHGs" and the atmosphere and already makes a huge mistake by saying that CO2 and methane are the 2 main "GHGs". Er no, water vapour is the largest by far an then CO2. He continues with his "explaination" and makes mistake after mistake after mistake. But the problem is is that people look up to him.

@arbide2 He made a big mistake by not mentioning water. However; I'm quick to point out that water naturally and safely removes itself from the air, while CO2 and Methane do not...

George Monbiot is an ill informed fool!

It doesn't take 15 years to bring a wind farm online.

You can build wind turbines on a production line like cars, you can't do that with nuclear.

We have wasted billions on Nuclear Fusion wit not power station online.

Why do we need to waste more billions on this folly when there is a safe Nuclear Fusion Reactor not 93 million miles from here, which needs no maintenace, its called the SUN!

And we didn't have to even build it.

First of all, you have to connect the windfarm to the rest of the power grid, not just build the turbines. Additionally, a very large number of wind turbines would have to be constructed to compete with a single nuclear reactor.
