  • Ha-ha-ha Happy Easter dear Kitties :D:D:D

  • so cute

  • Currently im 12 when im older like 18 i will sooooo donate! hopefully this will still be up. beautiful cats(:

  • @denuruf1234 Sounds good to us, do you live near Tampa? You could always volunteer too!

  • What type of cat is at 0:34?.. Looks like a Savanna. The ones at 2:17 look like pumas, and what are the cats at 1:02? They look so awesome!

  • @NoLifeSketh The cat at 0:34 is an Ocelot, the cats at 1:02 are siberian lynx :)

  • I know you guys always say "These cats are not, in anyway pets, and should not be kept as them" but with videos like these, how can you not want to have one as a pet?!

  • @braddudeguy That's a very good point, we also have videos showing how aggressive these cats can be, we're actually making a new version of this just to show viewers that they definitely aren't cute and cuddly all the time, thanks for the comment :)

  • Lol I liked when the tiger was trying to get the egg. It looked so cute. :)

My question is did the tiger get any eggs at all?

  • @iluvbobcats Yeah he did we piled some up on the side of his pool in the video :)

  • I loved how the tiger was getting upset when it couldn't find the egg in the water. It was almost like a two year. Love yer vids!!!

  • Good old TJ :)

  • Somehow, I can't help but wonder how the Sand Cats interacted with those eggs. Probably the same way a house cat would.

  • I don't think the sand cats got any, we they have delicate systems and we didn't want to make them sick.

  • @ApacheMan2K I did'nt see any sand cats in the video?

  • Cool! Cute too. I have subscribed by the way

  • Thanks for subbing!

  • @BigCatRescue Soz about repeating and no problem! Cute channel icon too. Did they really posse like that?

  • Cool! Cute too! I have subscribed by the way!

  • I was watching some of the Wildcat Sanctuary's (in MN) videos, and discovered they sometimes give the cats a nontoxic, food-dye based paint to play with for enrichment...have you ever tried that at BCR?

  • You mean they paint items with this food dye? This is what we used to color the eggs, if we paint boxes etc... we use the non toxic paint for this as well :)

  • They actually give them a glop of it to smear around, just the paint itself! They seem to like it....if you get a chance, take a look at some of their videos, they're amazing too!

Curious to see what you were up to with that camera today :)

  • Hmmm, sounds messy! Sorry didn't realize you were you! I was filming Freckles the liger who just got a huge popsicle! Hope you enjoyed your visit!

  • Our visit was purr-fect as always, thanks! (Yes, I am very corny.) I'm hoping to go to the upcoming volunteer orientation, I can't get enough of these guys. We did catch you up close and purrsonal (sorry!) with Freckles and the huge bloodsicle, she was totally into it! When we came back around she was trying to extract the chicks from it. My daughter's friend thought the bloodsicles smelled good....allrighty then!

  • Corny is good :) Yeah you got a good look at Freckles enjoying her popsicle then, I'm gonna make a video with all the different kind of enrichment we make for the cats, that should be entertaining! New, helpful volunteers are always good, hope to see you around in a red shirt!

  • How nice of you guys, cats deserve easter as well!

  • thats awsome as man these cats look really happy and active very good work

  • love the tiger! splashing in the water!

  • That was TJ, he loves his pool and goes crazy in there whenever he feels like it :)

  • I never knew big cats liked easter eggs

  • You do now :) It's a fun treat for them they don't get these very often.

  • Pretty simple really, They are killers nothing more nothing less they may look cute and cuddly i can tell you first hand having run into a full grown adult male cougar in Alberta where i live he was meowing like a normal cat until he decided to take off from the tree above us we had no clue in the world it was right above our heads until we heard a meow for our sake lucky he wasnt hungry just took off never to be seen by us again. makes ya think really

  • That sounds like a close encounter! You're 1005 right these cats look cute and cuddly as kittens and cubs but soon grow large very fast and they wouldn't think twice about attacking you if they felt like it!

  • COUGER: I broked egg

  • Yeah that was funny, he still gulped it down fast though :)

  • Lol I love the look TJ has when the egg disappears like

    "What happened?"

  • you guys are amazing you not only take care of the cats you let them have fun every once in a while

  • aww the lynx's are beautiful!

  • What kind of cat is that at 0:37? It's beautiful.

  • That was one of our ocelots a smaller cat from south america.

  • It hasn't been tempting for me to pet a big cat since we saw a video in Paramedic training of a leopard that attacked a zoo keeper. She was cleaning out his enclosure; she thought the cat wasn't in there and acted on the assumption that it was safe to enter the enclosure.

We saw the result of the attack in detail. We had to view the wounds close up, and I definitely didn't want to end up looking like that. The cat caused that much damage after only one bite to her throat.

  • Yep, you can never forget these are animals with wild instincts and if they feel like attacking you they will, no matter how long you have been working with them as the saying goes "complacency kills!"

  • 2:06 "Uh oh...Bye bye!"

  • 1:25 Frustration kicks in

  • Yep, TJ was like, stuff it I'm just gonna demolish the egg!

  • lol it was funny to watch that tiger slpash around in the water wat's it name?

  • That was TJ, he's the crowd pleasing tiger at the sanctuary!

  • Lol the first cat was trying to get high off the egg paint

  • This place looks crazy fun to work at! How do you get a job? How old must you be?

  • It's a great place to work, but also very hard work at the same time! The best way to be part of BCR is to volunteer or do an internship, you have to be 18 yrs or older to do so, check out our website bigcatrescue*org for more info!

  • thats awesome! Is your job like to control the websites and stuff or does everyone do just about everything (internet, big cat times, interact with the cats, etc.)

  • We all play different roles, but yeah i'm the video guy and maintain other sites etc... we don't interact with the cats though we never go in the cage with our cats or anything like that!?

  • Yea... haha. Would the cats eat you? or did you all like tame them since they were cubs to be nice?

  • Yes, they would definitely attack you, we don't breed so we have no cubs, even though you can never really "tame" a wild big cat.

  • Is it difficult for the keepers to "keep their distance?" Do they ever want to pet and scratch the cats? It looks so tempting... (even though they could eat me)

  • It isn't for me, I have seen how quickly their mood can change and become aggressive for no reason!

  • They say they wanna have a little fun at easter !! LOL!! 2 CUTE!!

  • That tiger was too cute with that egg!!!

    lolz just spashing eveywhere!!!

  • Yep TJ is the star of the show without a doubt!!!

  • That was very cool are you going to do anymore Videos. I love Loins and Tigers they're so cool could u comment me back with more facts on them please THANKS!

  • Hi, we will always be doing more videos! Is there anything specific you would like to see?

  • tasty!

  • i LOVED WATCHING THAT !

i was there watching the whole time!

    IT WAS ADORABLE

  • Good, glad you enjoyed it!

  • Hello B.c.r

I am a old friend and subscriber

I Love it what your doing I think your giving Each Animal a better Outlook on life and so thanks for doing this :o)

    Melissa

  • Thanks for watching! We do the best we can for our cats!

  • I feel in my heart this the right thing I love

they are in a cage Like - they have room

to run and eat good stuff //

  • Wow! I love this big Tiger's paw in the water! And I enjoy the game also.

  • great job you guys!!!!! i wish i was there to do that , that looked like fun!!!!!

  • Yeah it was good fun, glad you enjoyed it!

  • I think its great what your doing with these

animals I have always been fascinated with

    them they are beautiful creatures.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Sooo cute, the Tiger just went crazy for that egg, when it was in the water! X)

Hey, Scott, were you eve on Animal Planet? I thought I saw you on "Untamed And Cut" Before..

  • Yep Scott as been featured on "Untamed & Uncut" as well as "Lion Feeding Frenzy" on Animal Planet, good show if you get chance to check it out!

  • Oh, okay, cool, and thank you!

  • WHOA! That tiger goes totally bonkers!

  • Yeah TJ was is definitely a crowd pleaser!

  • I love this video its soo cute!! i hope i get to come see the cats in person someday!!

but im wondering, isnt egg dye poison?

  • Thanks, the cats enjoyed their treat! We used a non-toxic dye for the eggs so it was safe and the cats just left the shell for the cleaners to pick up the next day!

  • That's cool! ^_^

  • It looks like they all had a lot of fun. But I was particularly impressed by how you guys tossed the eggs into the habitats without breaking them.

  • That's a good point, I guess Scott as just got the magic touch! We didn't hard boil any of them, just didn't have the time and we thought the cats would like them raw better anyways.

  • I think eggs are better in general for them raw.. I think my dad says it does good things for their coats and stuff. :o My dad use to give our kittys eggs mixed in with thier food like once a week or two weeks or something.

The cats looked like they enjoyed their treat ^.^ tho I thought I notice some lost theirs T.T poor kitties ""sniff"" lol

  • hey Scott, were you on Animal Planet?

  • Hi (this isn't scott by the way) but yeah he as been on Animal Planet, Lion Feeding Frenzy where he spent days stuck in a plastic cube surrounded by lions! He's also been featured on "untamed & uncut" as well as the history channel - Monster Quest. He gets around a bit!

  • what is the colour made of?

  • hey thanks for the reply. I saw Scott on Lion Feeding Frenzy.

  • This was adorable to watch. I especially loved the one tiger's reaction, splashing all in the water.

  • Glad you enjoyed it, TJ was the star of the show hey!

  • I'm so glad the Big Cats had a Happy Easter! I don't know who appeared having the most fun--the Easter Bunny's helpers, or the cats! I do hope the two who lost theirs, got extras! Keep up the eggscellent work there!

  • Yeah we had a good time too! Thanks for watching!

  • haha aw was that my baby TJ in the pool? love that big furry guy!!!! keep up the good work!!

  • Yep that's TJ in the pool who else!?

  • haha did he find his egg or did he get a new one???? did the others ones tht lost theres get new ones? :)

  • yeah he got quite a few new ones, the one in the pool had nothing inside it was just a hollow shell! Everybody got at least one good egg to enjoy!

  • mann it looks like fun to work there...i love pretty much all animals...big cats are cool and i see how much fun you guys have...i like reptiles and amphibians(herps)...

    anyway great vid

  • Thanks for watching, it is good fun to work here but also hard work at the same time!

  • hahhahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! they look like they are having a lot of fun! espesially the tiger! arent the paint on the eggs bad 4 dem?

  • Yeah TJ the tiger was the best performer! We just used non-toxic coloring and they didn't really eat the shell just lapped up the egg.

  • Happy Easter, Big Cat Rescue and all your felines!

    Thanks for the cute vid.

  • Thanks for watching!

  • what are the cats from 1:42 to 1:52 please

  • this was wonderful, thanks!

  • No problem we had fun watching too, glad you enjoyed this egg-cellent video!

  • is it healthy to give a cat raw eggs like that?

  • Yeah it's fine every so often, they aren't a regular part of our cats' diet, just a treat for them and for us to watch!

  • what are the cats from 1:42 to 1:52?

    i love them

  • Hi, they are bobcats, we have around 35 bobcats at Big Cat Rescue!

  • LOL that Tiger was cute becuz he went crazy for an egg, you should have given him another since he lost it :(

  • Yeah he was good fun, we did give him another then put a bunch on the edge of the pool for him to play with!

  • The big cats you rescue and take care of are so beautiful. I always did wonder what tigers would do on Easter xD

  • Well now you know!

  • Cool video,t i have a question, is good for the Cats to eat eggs? i mean i never see this kind of stuff before,is pretty strange XD

  • Yep it's fine for cats to eat raw eggs, we don't give them eggs on a regular basis though.

  • Cats are amazing creatures....Thank you for all that you do!

  • hahah! that was a great idea!!! the cougar at 0.47! that was smart from him/her. very nice vid! =D

  • That was Hal, he didn't mess around did he?!

  • I'm glad you took the time to get your cats into the Easter Spirit! Most zoos or refuges would of never done that. That just goes to show that you really love your animals!

  • Thanks for watching, we do our best for our cats!

  • Haha, you were right, it was an egg-cellent idea

It was sure fun to watch

    Lexy and Jolanda

  • Glad you enjoyed it! Did you see the pumpkin podcast?

  • I never knew they liked eggs. The color must have made them curious. Are eggs like a little treat to them??

  • We don't usually feed out eggs for enrichment very often, but we knew they do like them and it's safe for them to eat so we thought we'd give them a easter treat!

  • Cool. I can't wait to see what they get for Christmas!

  • wow they're eating raw eggs, lappin em up like water

  • That is so funny how they lap up whatever was in the egg (I can't remember what its called. I loved the one with the egg in the pool and the animal was splashing about trying to find it.

  • Yep, TJ the tiger loved his eggs, we loved watching him too!

  • do you have cheetahs?

  • No we don't have cheetahs, which is a good thing, they are rare and hard for people to buy as a "pet".

  • Do you have cheetahs at big cat rescue?

  • hahahah!!!!

    man this is so cool

    your cats are amazing!!!!

thats really nice of you guys

  • lol all that fussing over an easter egg. so awesome

  • Such beautiful Big Cats! I love it :) Your Pumas are especially gorgeous- I've always loved them!

  • Yep, they're one of my favorites too!

  • How many raw eggs did you color and give to the animals?

  • About 5 dozen! It was good fun to see them being handed out!

  • Is there any videos explaining the enclosures with the lakes, the ones where I sometimes see people throwing food/treats off a bridge? I'm curious which tigers live in there, their story, and more about the enclosure itself.

  • If you watch the "TIGERS LEOPARDS vs Pumpkins!" or "SHERE KHAN'S new home" you'll see more from that enclosure. It's the largest enclosure at BCR 3 acres, as a wooded area two huge dens and then access to the lake at the back, great for tigers. Shere khan and China Doll - tigers live in there.

  • oh wat a cool video^^

  • Thanks!

  • Wow that was fun to watch! :) It was funny when at 00:50 he sqashed the egg! :D And he was like "huh???"

  • Yep, that was Hal the cougar he didn't mess around!

  • Happy Easter.

you had a nice idea with that.Big cats are really cute and amazing, especially with such a present. One of your Cougars know hoe to get the food, just scrunch on it. Scott is a bit sneaking to TJ, throw the egg into the water, but it made a nice toy for him. Good job, keep up your work ;-)

  • Thanks, of all the tigers we had to choose TJ for the egg in pool trial, and it's pretty safe to say we made the right decision!
