I just crashed my ltr450 2 days ago. 5th gear top speed so about 80mph at 11pm wit hno head light and hit a 6 inch wide mail box post and snapped it right in half. Me and the quad flew but i got nocked out. Fractured neck&ancle, legmints torn in shoulder, 5 stiches in hand, 2 slightly black eyes, chiped front tooth, 2 holes bit in my toung, and bad road rash and sore. Quads needs all new plastic, Right side A-arms, right shock, grab bar, sub frame, handle bars, and a tie rod. I got very lucky.

A friend of mine(being a dumbass) hit the back of a truck on a motorcycle in excess of 125 MPH he had on a helmet but no jacket and just blue jeans he was released by the hospital 3 hours later with only minor bumps and bruises. He had on a Helmet. He saved his life by wearing it.

Who knows,I've been racing for 12 yrs and I fliped my quad going about 75 about 15 times since I've been racing. I race in the Desert race.Last year I hit a large rock and flip my quad over the rock at 65 broke my shoulder and wrist.
