Some Autoharps don't have enough chords for you to actually play this song correctly. Pretty sure you need a full 32 key autoharp to make it happen :)

haha oh i know. tuning six strings for a guitar is tricky on its own but, having to tune each string of the autoharp is just a pain. its a cool instrument though.

But I suppose others have already told you that it was a hit by Phil Phillips in 1959. There were remakes through the years including one by Del Shannon in 1982

actually no one told me that.

i've heard the original actually, the 1959 one, and i wasnt sure who sang it. so, i looked it up and the only other name besides cat power i got was del shannon, so i assumed that was the original singer.

but now i know...so thank you! : D
