I have a little story about earthbound

When I was a kid my mom would rent games to see if we wanted to buy them...

So one day while at the rental store, I saw a game which I think was eye candy for me, and that was the BIG FUCKING EARTHBOUND box. Looking at it, I knew I wanted it, but I had to convice my mom who, because of it's cost, was a little on the fence, but I eventually convinced her and after trying it, we went back a bought it.

We still have that game... worth the same$ now as then...

@OmagaMinion Mother 3 is only know because it is much newer than earthbound, earthbound has NEVER been overrated besides japan, chrono trigger is more popular because of its sales and similarites to earthbound. Hell even some of my friends said about lucas was "Is that a blond jimmy neutron?" face it earthbound is underrated.

It includes the package,the game, and the instruction manuel and in very good conditon. Right now the current bid is 102 E(euros) and there are 8 more days to bid on it. This is your chance. Even if it is 102 E earthbound is a wonderful game that everybody should play. I think you should try to get it.

I remember reading about this in video game magazines (the SNES game) and renting it off and on at a local video rental mom and pop store that I was allowed to walk to on weekends (it was like 4 blocks away) and rent what ever my allowance would get me. I never finished Earthbond because it was just impossible to finish in a weekend, and to find that most of the time when I'd rent it again my save file was gone...

I checked out this game after seeing the review and history and omg this game was awesome. I was disappointed that i didn't get to see my characters fighting. but i got over it. Also I managed to find the sword of kings on my first play through. but it did take a few hours. I later went insane but anyways i enjoy your reviews keep up the great work.

I wouldn't call EarthBound underrated. Thanks to Super Smash Bros, it's pretty well known now and most gamers acknowledge that it is very good. It's just that non-Japanese EarthBound fans get screwed over a lot more than most fanbases.

That doesn't change the intent of what they were trying to say. Oh-netto would be one pronunciation, WA-netto would be another. Neither approaches your pronunciation.

Unless the Japanese towns were named something else entirely, of course.

Then again, it's nintendo; you have a plumber who fights evil turtles, an heroic elf boy, an badass space hunter, a pink puff-ball...the list goes on. But Earthbound/Mother is really a unique series.
