@Harvkaur paklovesindia is referrring to Guru ji as a sufi, this is very wrong as it would mean that Guru ji is a muslim. very tricky on his part to include Guru ji in the islamic faith as many muslims try to do that. Read his comments carefully he is very calmly and lovingly saying Baba Nanak was a great sufi saint. sufism is a sect of islam. Guru was Guru and founded of Sikhi, not a sufi saint as if he was we would be dancing and worshipping at graves.

@PakLovesIndia but i hope u wont make him a muslim in the movie or a hindu. Guru Nanak's bani is direct from Waheguru, Almighty God. Guru Nanak did not believe in islam nor hinduism but believed in Naam of One God and rigteious living an seva, Guru Nanak's light was passed on to 10 Gurus who refered to themselve as Nanak. Guru Granth Sahib is eternal Guru, we bow our head to Guru, God's word. New path. but i do like sufism a lot, only thing about islam i really is sufism

@PakLovesIndia sufism is very much against islam if you look at the quran and hadits and islami scholars woujld disagree on a lot of practices of sufis. like i said i thin sufis are just great. i dont agree with everythign they do like dancing, praying to graves of peers but i deeply appreciate your devotion to ONE GOD, ur understanding that love for God is all that man needs. Guru Granth Sahib tells us "win your mind and win the world" i feel sufs are great for focusing on their souls

Guru never claimed to be either in fact, our SGGS calls hindus blind and muslims half blind. Guru nanak started new faith, this is shown by all life accounts of Guru ji and how Guru started the city of kartarpur

Guru ji loved all those who love God and live righteously, if Guru was a sufi sikhs would also be worshipping graves and dancing around graves. U have to study learn SGGS to learn true spirit of Guru ji which is the Sikh spirit.

u know whats the problem with us (as in people of indo pak) we are hyper active if we are not controlled we start killing ourself. if we don't have target we go mad and start doing shia suni hindu sikh and what not. When Britians were screwing us we had a target to get rid of them and we did it. but the min after that we were screwing us ourself, and drawing border line didn't do us any favour. The Main problem of understanding "Sikhism" is language barrier. My sikh friends explain some of things that really fascinate me.
I still remember one sentence. Sikh is saint and soldier. He can preach you righteousness and he can defend as well against devils.
I am still learning from my friends. :-)
