the connection between an event horse and his/her rider, is incredible. The trust both has in each other is untouchable, sometimes , yes event riders push too hard..... don't suggest that the type of trust that an event horse and rider have in each other can come from anything that love..... that would be very wrong indeed, ... accidents happen... that is true tragedy, and when a horse is lost....... no one feels his loss more than the rider....no one.. he is your partner
Personally, I think the deaths of these two horses for the egos of the riders is sickening. This is why I do not compete in horse sports. It inevitably ends in the rider's ego overrunning what is best for the horse. No one who competes in these events truly loves horses, they love the thrills and awards. Pathetic. Thanks for the tribute tho, at least someone remembered that they died.
yea theres lots of tributes out there. tho what really bothers me more than XC is horse racing. (no offense to those who love it) its just my opinion but i hate it.
I agree, horse racing is sickening in the extreme but, 3 day eventing is now coming in second place with me. I've seen too many horses ridden when they are extremely hurt and barely able to stand, just to finish. Both are sick sports.
No horse will do ANYTHING it doesn't want to do. They are MUCH stronger than we are, of course. If they didn't WANT to jump, race, or even canter....they wouldn't.
wow. since when did i say that if you competed you hated your horse. i compete with my horse and i love her. i just hate certain types of riding that put more risk towards the horse thats all. but any type of riding is dangerous and we have to acknowledge that. I DIDNT say that you had to hate the same things i do. its your choice what you like not mine in any way.
yea, that was probably my bad sorry haha i thought you were saying that i hated showing and all those sports together!! i was like nooo thats not what i meant! but its okay, i just wish they had a way to make those things safer.. hmm.
You also spelled "Courageous" wrong, among several other grammatical errors.
What's the point of making a tribute video if you're not going to do at least enough research to make sure you at least spell your *beloved* horses' names right?
oops sry.. idk where my program went so i had to guess,(i was to lazy to research it ;)) but thank you. and the first song i beleive was Just Another by Curtis Peoples

So...since I compete...I hate my horse?
Far from it.

it's nothing you said. fishmarc's comment confused me a little and made me think that.
but whatever, i probably misinterpreted it. didn't mean to make anyone upset or mad. i sounded like a bitch in that comment, sorry.
