he looks like a nice person here no wonder he has fame of good teacher. anyways the girl plays some consistent go, she's definitely done her homework :)
@HmongYou2Tube Takemiya Masaki is one of the greatest Go art master ever... his aesthetic "cosmic style" of playing made him the most popular player among Japanese and Chinese for decades!! he's far more than Shusaku (whose games were said to be played by Sai...) in terms of aesthetics!!
Too bad we can't see the whole game. Takemiya-sensei is a good teacher. She plays very fast and aggressive go and it's really hard to tell from these few moves how it would go ;)
i just don't know who is 9p is he, or neither girl, but i can say for those first moves, she is quite more powerful then the 9p, cuz black has the advantage there without thinking more 1 sec??it seems she really doesn't care about him,it's like she is the one who is underestimating
First of all, if you read the title, you can tell that the guy is the 9p because the 9p is playing against a little girl. Who would think a grown man would be a little girl....I
haha! Did you see the look on his face when she played that move. XD
For those who don't know, you normally don't touch those type of stones since it will make white add more stones. Meaning get more strenth around the area, in this case black's influence. Although it isn't yet, black ruined a possible attack on the white stone.
no its because i dk what hane means but if white were to do as to say capture the stone at the bottom or right--- black wud geta nice small wall guarding the right--- so the 9p had 2 options left or right :D
can he cut the double hane and then capture the lower stone to then atac the left hoshi. Is he playing easy on the girl going for influence? mmm im not too good...
No with futher reading white would end up in a worse position, so rather then start a needless battle he put black in an uncofterbole position since white is now freely dancing in blacks area of influence.
Awesome video... first the little girl double hanes, nearly beats Masaki to the board with her follow-up connection, and then giddily cuts his hanging stone. Must not be too intimidated...
She's not Anna Kobayashi - I've met her several times; she's now 12 and learning to play the piano in Vienna. The girl in the video is the daughter of a relative of Cho U. Cho U is married to Kobayashi Izumi, who is in turn the granddaughter of Kitani Minoru. And Kitani Minoru's son Kitani Masamichi was at the workshop as well; there they spoke about how they are distantly related.
Takemiya: "wanna dance?"
little girl: "huh?"

The best part of this video is the girl seemed to be not serious and play like leisure, and the pro has to think how to not win so hard.
I loled
AuroraExcutio 2 years ago 28
Probably the pro was just seeking to teach her through the game more than any other thing.

Yeah, he is just playing teaching moves, easy to tell.
Wakookaka 2 years ago 2
Wakookaka has a point, otherwise he would have played double hane instead of atari.

0:07 ... he's like WTH ehh??!! lol
