Maschine Tutorial #9: FX & Automation Part 1

@AngryGermanGangKid I found this to work for me: Select a sound, then press the button directly underneath (SAMPLING), this changes (SAMPLER) to (NO MODULE).. Now press (SHIFT + BROWSE) to apply FXs.. Use buttons 2 and 3 to apply FX to SOUND or GROUP.. i hope this helps .. also use knob one to choose the source of the FX, either internal or PLUG-IN

How do you get Modules to be on the right screen to select it?.. Maschine 1.7 has the MODULES on the left screen. And when selected you get (Sampler)(2)(3)(4) on the right screen not FX

HELP!! Am trying to apply fx to sounds in 1.7 and i cant seem to do it.. Thanks

The Maschine does not have an FX section as shown in the video. The video is old.

@2xtrbo Agreed. My Maschine has a totally different layout. MASCHINE 1.7 NOTE THIS!!! ---> --- > ---> Now Maschine features (Master) (Group) (Sound) & (Modules) on screen to the right and, for example, (Sampler) (2) (3) (4) on the left screen if (Modules) is selected. Otherwise left screen shows (Src) (Grv) (Mcr) (Out). It is with (Modules) selected on the right screen that you can change the instrument parameters or add fx by pressing buttons 5 to 8.

The maschine itself is pre simple enough and plus they make a video and showing everything about it. makes us look kind of lazy right.

i know its possible... but does any one know how to apply a LP filter to a single scene without it being on the master? for example only on a chorus and not on the verse.

When you make and play back patterns, can you record changes in the effects parameters and then those changes also play back as the patterns loop?

Guys, please pull this video. 16.2 doesn't work this way. And the manual doesn't explain the right way to do it either, because it's for version 15. AWESOME.

@mlynch2003 Just figured it out, you browse just like you would a sound or a sample, and select module. from there you choose your effect and assign it to an out. exit browse, choose your pad and assign it to the corresponding out on the right screen. hope that makes some sort of sense.

@mlynch2003 you pretty much do the same thing except now in 1.6 ,the area you want to go to is (modules) you hit the pad you want , then select the numbered slot you want to add the effect to then hit shift + browse.pick the effect and then exit browse to change parameters. its pretty much the same .

@Hanni011 the software is included but you can't run maschine without a laptop. the maschine also doesn't have an audio output, so the music runs through your laptop.
