@LLC0104 They run around a 12:1 compression ratio. They have completely reworked combustion chambers, tig welded up and reground. The port jobs are massive and lots of head work. You see this N/A imagine what can be done with some boost.
@moderns30 I doubt about 12:1 CR actually. Because you can't run 12:1 on carbs with a big cam. Dynamic compression would be too high and you might face a hella load of detonation.

3.1リッターを懐かしく思い出しました。
L型チューニングバイブルなるものが私の聖書でした。
それまでの3リッターをステップアップさせるために
組んだのですが大晦日0～400大会に間に合わせる予定が
組み上がったのが大晦日の昼・・・
セッティングもままならぬ状態で本番を迎えた苦い経験です。
それから数十年。未だにチューニングカーから卒業できず
今では６００馬力のターボ車で満足できません。

このような大会があるのですね、初めて知りました
29年前に仲間内で、89.5のピストンを使い3リッターを組みました
近所のMレーシングさんの仕様を、見よう見まねしたものです
まだ少なかったベンチで、２７５馬力を計測
速さには自己満足していましたけど、当時日本で一番速いと
噂のKレーシング製、３６０馬力のS１３０には
あっさり置いてけぼりをくらいました

Save yourself some googling! 409ps = 409hp. (A very hard to believe figure indeed!) Incredible if that's true!

409 PS is about 403 hp, but that's still 400+ hp for an NA L6!!!!!
I'm curious to know what the compression ratio is; surely it's not streetable.

@Pigioto1 Kameari produce high quality aftermarket parts for the Z, amongst those parts you can get a stroker kit yes. Not cheap though.
