With as much money as Coldplay has earned over the years, you'd think they could hire a touring keyboard/synth player for the tours instead of rolling tape of the keyboards.
So sad to found out coldplay is not as creative on live as they are in studio! i'm pleased to hear the studio version, realizing how mix's good, sounds well chosen but obliviously the same for live perf! I enjoy seeing bands on live, but not for hearing the same strings ensemble or choirs already recorded for the studio version. If the aim is to keep strings and choirs ambiance, so please pay musician to perform for it on stage, do not let a tape play again what we can already hear on the iPod!
@buzzinblonde It's pretty hard to get a full stringed quartet on a stage. Besides, people come to see coldplay, not some random orchestra. Stop complaining. They tried to get the live version as close to the studio version as possible, and the song wouldn't sound as good without some pre recorded music.

So sad to found out coldplay is not as creative on live as they are in studio! i'm pleased to hear the studio version, realizing how mix's good, sounds well chosen but obliviously the same for live perf! I enjoy seeing bands on live, but not for hearing the same strings ensemble or choirs already recorded for the studio version. If the aim is to keep strings and choirs ambiance, so please pay musician to perform for it on stage, do not let a tape play again what we can already hear on the iPod!

@buzzinblonde It's pretty hard to get a full stringed quartet on a stage. Besides, people come to see coldplay, not some random orchestra. Stop complaining. They tried to get the live version as close to the studio version as possible, and the song wouldn't sound as good without some pre recorded music.
