WoW Fantastic listening to this, Spent many hours listening to Bahuddin Qawwal in the early eighties. Simply Superb and meeting them all was an experience in the history of Qawwali.

how to tell if this raag originated in india and was sung for krishna bhakti first and then used for sufi poetry by khusro and contemporaries or the other way round? this discussion is meaning less as a rose by any other name is but a rose. khusro loved this country so much that he chose to live here and wrote more in brij bhasha than in his mother tongue.

Phool Khiley Baghiyan mein is one of the greatest of all time Qawwalis. Ustad Bahauddin Khan has one of the oldest lineages amongst all the Qawwals in the World.
