  • The parrot isn't solving the puzzle... it's opening the coil with its beak so they easily come apart.

  • that is so easy, just take it off backwards

  • how the heel do they figure it out? oh im gonna see if my pet parrot can solve a chain puzzle....

  • why is it always Japan

  • Wait, hold on; we're all missing the bigger picture here....that macaw was speaking japanese.

  • Sooo...bird brain is NOT an insult anymore...

  • super bird

  • we were outsmarted by bird brains ._.

  • THat parrot must of taken brian steroids.

  • No offense but you might need brain steroids, lol.

  • ". . . than any human." is a bit far fetched don't you think?

  • lol cool parrot...xD

  • that parrot is on crack.......

  • i think the parrot is bending the metal, thats why.

  • cathwom

the parrot is bending the metal. If people look closely and compared the metal rings. They are stuck together, but the one at the end of the video, the parrot bended the metal so an opening was created where the other ring can slipped through.

Not amazing at all, anyone can bend the metal.

  • maybe anyone can bend the metal.. but it is impossible to have bended it.

  • @beat you should look closer at the video.

The rings are bented. Just look closer. You'll see when the caretaker hands the parrot the rings you'll see there isnt any gaps or openings. Its the same for the "humans" trying to solve the puzzle.

But at the end of the video, the rings are completely bented.

You;ll be suprised how much strenght a animals have.

  • no... im saying there is no such word as "bended".

  • @beatthinker

you must have a poor english vocabulary. The word "bended" does exist. You should go dictionary(dot)com and search the word up.

  • it archaic. that means it isn't really in use anymore. like dunce or simpleton. it just sounds really stupid, in other words. fuck it.. its about a parrot moron.

  • @beatthinker

its still in use. Its and old form of the past tense but it can still be used.

Your original statement said its "not a word". And and old form of the word that isnt use much today is still a word. Moron.

  • "Look the word up" or "Search for the word".

  • @Geminii27

thank you for your consideration to correct the mistake i made.

    :)

  • if that parrot is so damn smart, how come he got caught and is now stuck in a zoo?

  • If dolphins are so smart then how come they live in Igloos?!

  • good one.. *thumbsup*

  • Sorry, thought you were making a subtle south park reference...

  • maybe it was raised there?

  • l0l

  • check out 1:08 if the guy moves his finger and tries to take it out from other side its easyly out but he doesn't im sure they have tought the parrot to do that parrots isnt smart at all they just have good ability to remember and mimic

  • Being able to remember things is a level of smartness, many people around the world could not remember things that this parrot can, if that is the case.

  • As i said parrots have the ability to remember and mimic that doesn't mean their smart animals remembering isn't a level of smartness its just a part of your brain being able to store the information its given.

  • And that part of your brain can be exercised just as the rest of skills which need smarts do.

  • A new level of ignorance. How lovely.

Tell me, if you couldn't remember how to do math, how would you do it? If you couldn't remember how to spell, how would you do it? If you couldn't remember how to move your arm, how would you do it?

Memory is probably the biggest factor in gauging intelligence as it's important for everything.

So the parrot learned how to do it by watching someone else and got better on it's own. Isn't that how most people do it too?

  • well said, youtube makes you notice how stupid the general population is.

  • Everything makes you notice that.

It's kind of hard to avoid.

  • the bird CHEATS lol it just forces the thing open with its OP beak XD THAT FUCKIN AWESOME

  • there's got to be a reason why it can do this.. perhaps the metal has been bent together in a way that only a powerful force, like a macaws beak, can bend apart?

notice how to break them apart, the macaw places pressure on the corners of where the puzzle is joined, and kinda clicks it apart.

  • That's a Parrot, not a Macaw.

  • Does it really matter tbh

  • Japanese are smarter than Canadians.

  • fuck you

  • fuck me?

  • LMAO.

  • parrots has a strong bill or beak and if you see in the end of the clip, the metal is curved.

  • Don't be such a bird brain. This is a smart bird to be able to problem solve. They can do a lot more this it's just an example and what do you expect from a bird? At least he earns his peanuts.

  • Comment removed

  • but compare your brain size to that of a parrot

  • You're assuming that it's the same puzzle each time. But even so, the parrot cannot see the puzzle, since its eyes cannot look forward, only to the side. Also, since it uses its beak to assist it, it cannot possibly have the visual perspective of the problem that a human does. In effect, it is therefore a new puzzle each time for the bird. Yet no human has beaten it. I think it's pretty impressive.

  • gogogino, are you aware that chimps can easily beat university graduates in short term memory/reaction tests?

Chimps & students had to react quickly to different shapes & colours flashed at high speeds on a screen. When a specific pattern of shapes appeared, they had to press a button to register it. The chimps beat the students by a gigantic margin. It's only supreme arrogance that leads us humans to believe we're mentally superior in every way. Animals don't survive in the wild by dumb luck!

  • it is impresive..a parrott is doing it. dont be such a cunt

  • ok it is impresive but a human can do the same

so where is the point to compare him with a human?

it must have done it a dozen times and the guys haven't tried this before...

parrots are the smartest animals out there...they can do more than that...

  • in 0:43 she try to cheat by looking at parrot how he or she done it

  • the parrot is a she. 1:19

  • thouse puzzles are easy! its hard for the simple minded.

  • i have puzzels like that only a little smaller, they are soo easy. cant beleve those people fail...

  • PAUSE IT AT 1:08 .... ALL HE HAS TO DO IS SLIDE THE ROUND BIT OF THE ONE IN HIS LEFT HAND, DOWN SO IT COMES OF THE END OF THE OTHER ONE. i think this is fake.

  • ha well spotted

  • i was thinking maybe he was trying to put the thing back... its quite a high possibility

  • @shordyinabox That or u forgot Asian vision problem

  • @shordyinabox maybe he is trying the reverse though..

  • ...we just got pwned by a bird...

"birdbrain" shall no longer be in my vocabulary

  • it's not that impressive considering the bird is doing the same puzzle every time.....

  • yea, but still, do it yourself xD

  • the puzzle the bird does is easy if you just practice it

  • sure but its still a bird doing it :P

  • and ill be there with a sniper, waiting...

  • the only reson the parrot wins is because he bends the puzzle so the othier links come off

  • The puzzle for the peoples are RIGGED!

  • you know bears can rip peoples arms off faster than any human

  • I have a Blue and Gold McCaw as well, named Bugsy, and they ARE very smart, so I wouldn't doubt this one's abilities. However, I do agree, it takes a very short time for them to learn something, so if he's done it before, of course he'd prevail.

  • The skill comes in real handy when the parrot comes across three links of metal that need to be untangled in the wild.

  • actually those skills are just an outgrowth of thier skill at opening nuts. Really though it's a stupid test because he obviously has PRACTISED!. Once you solve one of these puzzles they are very easy.

  • That makes sense, they could do a nut cracking competition and the parrot would still win, but I guess that wouldn't be as interesting.

  • and u obviously need to PRACTICE spelling out PRACTICED!!!!

  • and you obviously need to go fuck yourself.

  • you mean practise =)

  • wow 5/5

  • wow, a skilled parrot. i'm very surprised.

  • I don't think the parrot's cheating by bending the metal or whatever. But, I think after it figured it out in a matter of days, it knows the puzzle, and is able to perform the same movements everytime. It's the same puzzle everytime, so of course he can beat people who've never done the puzzle.

  • im gonna fly my ass all the way over to tokyo and kidnap that parrot.

  • I hate that puzzle!!! lol

  • umm is it just me or, Does anyone really care if he's homosexual or what? Over 50% of the world's leader's / Powerful seated people are infact homosexual's or bisexual's.

  • That's a completely bullshit statistic

  • its true

  • i agree....

  • lol look at the last puzzle when it falls ono the ground...the puzzle has been bent and its easy to seperate tht wayt

  • retard

  • lol @ 0:45 they look to the bird for help

  • i have to say i totally agree with what everyone has said so far so man i really have nothing else to tell you except that it was intertaining.

  • bow down to the new parrot overlords

  • they give unsolving puzzle to the human

  • They need to give that parrot a new puzzle and rename this video to "Parrot Beats People At a Single Puzzle".

  • yellowkiwi lol

  • next the bloody japanese cockroaches will be smarter than humans

  • parrots can speak by REPEATING probably the same thing

  • that's how children learn to speak too though...

  • that parrot has been doing the same puzzles of course he's going to beat other people

  • Lol humans suck at life and at everything.... I am a parrot I own you at whatever you guys want lol

  • Not fair! That bitch is dimwitted

  • LOL!

  • wait a minute... i want to "solve" the same one that the bird is doing.....

  • The bird's probably been doing the same puzzle over and over for years.

It's the same with humans and rubix cubes. It took me several months for me to finish it the first time. Now that I know the strategy, I can finish the cube in a day.

  • Parrots ARE pretty smart. They can learn to speak english. Can you speak bird?

  • yes i can

  • But it is being handed the same puzzle over and over. I managed to start a new puzzle and done it within 5 seconds. MAJOR FLUKE. I can also solve some with my eyes closed. The one that that bird was doing i had. I had been trying to do it for about 20 minutes. When i got sick of it, i started to watch by brother play his DS. Whilst the puzzle was in my hands and i was still fiddling with it. While i was watching him I accidentally solved it.I now find it easier to solve them with out looking :p

  • lol

  • LMAO

  • ... i have 3 of these puzzles, and even with the paper showing how to solve it i can't solve it...

  • How does the bird do it?

    RAZOR SHARP BEAK

  • is it a new puzzle every time? or is the parrot just solving the same puzzle over and over again?

  • yeah? cos if its the same puzzle, then no wonder it keeps winning!!

  • that mean japenese is dumb XD jk but yeah at

1:08 he only need to slid it to the end

  • oause it at 1:08 and u can clearly see that it can just be slid off the end !!! lol

  • The parrot has the advantage of having seen the puzzle before. Try giving the parrot a chain puzzle it's never seen before and then see who wins! It may be smart, but I don't think it's fair to say it's smarter than humans.

  • pretty amazing tbh

  • Did you guys look at the puzzle... You can just slide it off one end... This is obviously a trick.

  • ummm... I really don't think the parrot solved anything, it looks like he just bent the loop.

  • Nice...

  • damn those parrot will take over this world b4 666 do....

  • The parrot was given the puzzle earlier so he has an advantage. When people walk by and see the puzzle for the first time they have trouble with it. when you give me that puzzle for a day I salve it in 4.42 seconds

  • wtf. that old man was firken stupid. all you have to do is pull iut the other way DUMB FUCK!!!

  • woooh!! five sec!

  • ok i guess 'birdbrain' is not an insult anymore

  • ten keeps solvin it coz shes probly done that same chain puzzle for atleast a year everday.

  • lmao how retaarded >>

  • hehehe! I solved that puzzle in 4 sec on my first try. It's kind the funny to see people having trouble with it.

  • Logic dictates that if this bird can beat Japanese people at puzzles, that parrot can beat at least 75% of the American electorate.

  • asian birds prob. have a lower life expectancy, as rare birds make good meals down there

  • your mum makes good meals down there

  • BACK THE FUCK UP!

  • them parrots/birds are sick lookin'

  • i can solve that puzzle in a few seconds they are all the same to links with a loop and common shape

  • かわいい

  • haha XD

  • I actually have the exact puzzle, it took me a while to take it apart. But now I know how to take it apart and put it back together

  • (: ¡uʍop ǝpısdn ǝɟıן ʎɯ pǝuɹnʇ ʇɐɥʍ ʞɔǝɔɥɔ

  • Ever played tic tac toe with a chicken?

  • haha random

  • Lol it's the same puzzle. Pretty sure they trained the bird to solve it and does it daily, where as people have not done the puzzle and have no clue.

    Not so cool. Big whoop

  • If you love dogs search "KONAS CHIPS"

  • IT"S DOING THE SAME PUZZLE EVERYTIME that should be a CLUE as to the fact that this parrot is just TRAINED? get a clue damn I had to waste 1min of my life to type this

  • wow that fat guy was holding the ends wrong lmfao... it can be undone in a second lmao... and i thought asians were smart...

  • Asian birds are smarter xD

  • lol

  • does the parrot solve the puzzel or just bend it? that last piece that fell to the floor looked bent.

  • well aint it the same puzzle..

  • I bet if I eat that parrot I would get smarter...

  • ... you're joking.

gimme one of those, i'll beat it in three <.<

  • cool check out my rockstar dog singing plz!

  • damn its not enough that there kids are smart as hell, but there parrotts have to be geniuses to...sheesh what a country, they try to be perfect in every way but the good old U.S.A. beats em to the punch everytime

  • wow that bird just ripped everyone apart. he is only 6 so he got another 94-114 years of ass wooping people in front of him.

  • Woo-heee. And boy, is she going to have fun doing it!

  • WTF is a chain puzzle lol

  • Thanks for the awsome videos. Check out my channel for some awsome videos and a great book. Thanks again

  • i dont need to bring sexy back cos sexy never left me ;)

  • Sick:D

  • hey, i played that game. since i know the tactic .. i can do it pretty fast. but the parrot's pretty smart. took me like 543218234 tries

  • When he solves the puzzle of life, call me.

  • Haha- yeah. See if she can solve THAT one!

  • pretty amazing solving it with only one foot and your mouth!

  • can she solve a rubix cube ? lol

  • yeah but i bet the parrot cant whipe its own ass. i can.

  • They don't need to, it all comes out cleanly since they don't have cheeks getting in the way.

  • yeah well the bird has already learned the solution.... try giving him my calculus homework. :)

  • Ahh This is cool video !

    THANKS

  • I think this is bull shit, the parrot does the same puzzle over and over again, when the people are doing it for the first time, crap crap I say.

  • well but she is still a parrot xD i think she is very smart though she did it several times

  • the parrot has a separate set under his wing and brings'em out wen no-ones looking. slight of hand...claw....cheater!

  • pretty kool

  • Crows beat chimpanzees in another test in Japan. Birds are smart creatures!

  • Ha yeah. My friend used to live behind a guy that shot a crow and killed it...everyday after that, crows would attack him whenever he walked outside. Crow are actually very smart birds; and, apparently, easily-angered birds as well.
