Bah. Hopelessly inept. But it isnt your fault. You just aren't equipped with the knowledge to properly attack this question. Winning a moral victory for forcing a presidential veto is no way to politic. It does nothing for progress but continue the discussion. Executive power allows an individual's principles to persevere, and is why we elect people of character, and inspiration. Also, I think if we were giving ALL our money to china, we'd be a little the worse for wear. This is Bush's deficit.
AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA poor thing. I know it is not customary for conservatives to admit when they are woefully out of their depth, but to ignore my entire post like a petulant child was more than I could have ever hoped for. There is a reason why the National debt was eliminated by the Clinton administration. Proper tax, proper spending. Why do you think conservatives love to be in power? So their unbalanced religious and economic agendas rule. Silly kid. But there is hope for you yet. Vote Obama.
Not like it matters though. You don't really have a choice in the matter. Obama will win, and your dusty hubris will finally be ill placed inside a political movement of change and peace. Your hyperbole will continue as it always has, except this time, you'll be a political minority, and will just have to fold your arms and pout for the next however many years. Good luck with John McBush though.
Correct. Because The Constitution explicitly outlaws the nationalization of businesses and FDR did not nationalize a large part of the rubber industry during WW2 so we could have enough rubber for our war machine and the United States does not have a Federal Bank because since its inception no President has ever let it continue to exist.
Not to mention the Constitutional clause that states "The economy of the United States must be Capitalist." Duh.
The lamest part of the video is when he does the cute little shoulder shrug "JUST FOR ONCE" act. HA, what a dork. And by the way Jack Hole, he is a senator. And as the saying goes, "I DONT SEE NO STEERS".
Guess what guys, Ali is making a point. The dude is running for president, BUT he has done jack in his current position. People want to play roulette with POTUS. And so what McCain said we need to stay in Iraq because you all know that we are going to anyways. When Obama says Iraqi responsiblity, it's clever because that could happen well a HUNDRED years from now. Wink Wink.
Say states and Puerto Rico left to vote, thank you for now recognizing Hillary for her strengths, not her gender. Its not too late, despite what the pundits say. Let's save AM land that we love not,the Dem. Party. If Hillary doesn't get the nomination please either encourage her to start a new party or, if she must remain loyal to the Democrat Party that has thumped her and Bill, write-in her name on the ballot. We can still do this and save America the land we love, not the Democratic Party.
How much do we spend on Iraq, how much have we spent on Iraq since we started there, why did the GOP lead us into Iraq without any good reasons, and why does McCain want to stay there another 100 years, how much will that cost, and where does McCain plan on getting the money to fund that?
Dumbass it wasn't only the GOP who lead us to war if you were smart enough and got the f*cking memo you would know Bill Clinton was thinking of going back to war back when he got into office.
We are still in Japan and we are still in Germany, so do you think it matters? We run ALL their military operations they have no more power which is the way it should be.
The short answer: end the war. Our money's not going to China. It's going to Iraq. Actually, China's money is going to Iraq. Our debt is going to China.
I'm sure if a single Senator could stop wasteful spending by himself (or herself), Barack Obama would be the first to try. I believe as President he will.
He certainly will do a better job of spending your money than McCain will.
I can't agree. McCain has the best record in Congress in protecting the Tax Payer's money.
But again my question is what will be cut. Senator Obama (unless his political advisers run everything) alone will have to answer that.
McCain doesn't want to fulfill 50% of all retired positions. That'll save the government tons and create a smaller government. That's a bold solution and non-partisan.
But surely you must understand that right now the greatest drain on our finances is the war in Iraq. Obama wants us out. McCain wants us in.
The war has not made us more safe. Maybe less safe. Stretched us too thin, and we're not doing anyone any good. And so expensive.
Another way to pay for these programs: end the Bush tax cuts for the top few percent of Americans. I'm no socialist, and I don't like taxes, but we need some sacrifice in this country. And I don't mean shoes off at the airport.

The deficit has what to do with Obama's proposed NEW spending? Yeah... that's what I thought.

To many of his ideas are socialist and have no place in American or Capitalism.

I suppose you (the liberal) are calling me (the conservative/independent).. gay? Talk about irony.
Senators belong to the body of Congress my friend.
I'm sorry my question offended you and made you feel like your comment was worth while? Sounds like an Obama-double-standard. Classic.

Obama doesn't say he wants 'Out of Iraq' he said he will 'Make the Iraqis take responsibility'
Hillary is the one who said she will have the military leaders draw a plan to discuss within 60 days she gets to office.

All candidates are basically planning the same thing. All will keep a permanent base and Obama is more shaky on it than Hillary now.
Good point.

Dumb twit. He's not the president yet and congress is manipulated by the Lobbyists.

Campaigning is the process whereby a Candidate tells us what they will do when in office.

He's a senator. Not a congressman. Just though I'd point that out.

The United States Senate and the House of Representatives together make up Congress. Look it up...

My friend: the war's budget and spending doesn't even come close to Obama's new spending proposals.
Also Obama is not planning to end all funding to the security effort in Iraq. No candidate is.
