  • When I was younger and growing up in Baltimore, there was a fried chickn chain called Chicken George. They had a radio spot that was very similar to this. I've seen the movie several times and it has a great cast, good plot and outstanding sound track.

The question is, when will black people stop cooning and clowning just to make a buck?

  • where in nj was this shot?

  • This is a GREAT satire! I rank it right up there with the Timmy HillN@#$! and THA BOMB BABY! satires from Spike's film Bamboozled. dcjohn62, you said this film was re-edited?How? Because I've got this movie on DVD and I don't recall any special features about it - are the special features only with the DVD-ROM feature? Let me know. THANKS! Peace!

  • Yeah it was re-edited from it's original 2 hour length to approx. 87 minutes for theatrical distribution. the only folks who ever saw the original version were those who participated in test screenings before the film was released. I have the original version and am in the process of cleaning it up before I post it on You Tube. Ironically, the Gospelpak spot was the first thing we shot and one of the few elements of the film that was unchanged by the powers that be. :)

  • Spike is always "ON", ROLin video!,Thanks

  • thanks! :)
