i had a dream of her.. she came through the clouds with a smile on her face.. i went down on my knees and started crying. she was talking to me for a long time. the saddest part of my dream was that i didn't know what she had said to me. all i have done the whole time when she was talking to me, was crying. i was crying. but i know that she is happy where she is. My Uncle passed away last night. I was in the car at starbucks, my son is the back, I am sitting in the drivers seat feeling consumed by guilt trying to hold it together PRAYING for peace, acceptance, the ease for all of our pain, especially his wife and young children and this song comes on the radio. this song is so beautiful I lost my beautiful daughter on 12/16/11. She was killed by a drunk driver. She left behind 3 beautiful daughters and a grnndson and granddaughter. My heart is shattered in a million pieces and I don't know how to put it back together.

A really good friend of mine ended his life just last Friday........there were many reasons behind it, and that was the only way out he could see. He leaves many good friends behind, and I know God with only welcome him with open arms in heaven. God bless you, Victor, I will miss you until the day I see you again x

Thanks for posting this. The song says it all. We're coming up on the one year mark since our 17 year old son passed away. I know he's with Jesus and so many people "remind" us that we'll see him again. I know we will, but it will be a very long time. My wife and I just want to live our lives to God's glory and do our best to make our son proud one day when we are reunited.

I don't cry much. My mother passed on almost 13 months ago and every time I hear this song, I cry. I cry for the pain of her not being here anymore. I cry because I am so happy that she is no longer in pain or in need of dialysis. I cry because I miss her so much and I do not know how long it will be until I get to see her again.

My girlfriends friends sister just recently died in a car accident. She was sixteen years old, so young.... When my girlfriend heard the news she looked at me and asked," Why does God do this to people?" All I could say was i dont know... I just want to say no matter how bad you have it, there is always someone that has it worse. I lost my 18 year old son, Daniel, on July 16, 2009. He was hiking with two of his friends on July 15, 2009 and lost his footing on a loose rock. He lost his balance and rather then being able to fall on the path, he fell of the cliff and sustained life ending/fatal head injuries. On July 16, 2009, he was pronounced brain dead. He would have been 21 on August 16, 2011. Honestly, the pain, grief, sorrow and loneliness is as fresh today as it was 2 yrs ago. Each day that comes I miss him more.

My husband went to be with the Lord 2 yrs and 2 months ago. I sure miss him but he too had faith and he was terribly sick. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Sometimes I feel his presence. God bless you.

I don't cry much. My mother passed on almost 13 months ago and every time I hear this song, I cry. I cry for the pain of her not being here anymore. I cry because I am so happy that she is no longer in pain or in need of dialysis. I cry because I miss her so much and I do not know how long it will be until I get to see her again.
God has blessed MercyMe and I cannot wait to see how He continues to bless many through the few that are MercyMe. I thank God for them. They make my spirit happy.

My girlfriends friends sister just recently died in a car accident. She was sixteen years old, so young.... When my girlfriend heard the news she looked at me and asked," Why does God do this to people?" All I could say was i dont know... I just want to say no matter how bad you have it, there is always someone that has it worse. Just remember to pray for those people that are struggling and be there for them because you never know if and when it will happen in your life... stay strong in faith.

I lost my 18 year old son, Daniel, on July 16, 2009. He was hiking with two of his friends on July 15, 2009 and lost his footing on a loose rock. He lost his balance and rather then being able to fall on the path, he fell of the cliff and sustained life ending/fatal head injuries. On July 16, 2009, he was pronounced brain dead. He would have been 21 on August 16, 2011. Honestly, the pain, grief, sorrow and loneliness is as fresh today as it was 2 yrs ago. Each day that comes I miss him more.

On October 2nd, my beloved husband will be celebrating his first year in Heaven. He lost his life last year from Pancreatic Cancer. He never lost his faith in God - he had no fear of what he was facing because he knew God was with him during his whole journey. This song says it all for me. I can hardly wait to be Home with him. We celebrated our 32nd anniversary last September 30th. We had our vows renewed at home. He was so weak, but he held off dying until two days later.

I lost my daddy on July 1, 2011! I am 19 years old and I have never felt a heart ache like this. I tell myself that he's in a better place and he's with his mama and pain free. But its so hard and i need more strength on some days than i do others. I talk to him everyday, I know hes watching his baby girl every day, but if i could only have one more day with my daddy. I have found some help by being a part of a group of mothers that understand, because they have been through the Sam thing, with he same feelings. its now been almost two months since I posted on here about being told that my daughter wouldn't live much longer..after we brought her home from the hospital she lived for 3 more weeks...and died laying in her bed Sunday july 3rd , while her mom and I were standing next to her. she looked up at us as if to say goodbye, then closed her eyes and took her last breath. God has been the only thing that has gotten us through this time. it is still hard on a daily basis. but I know Ill see her again

In the miidst of a confused childhood my grandfather was the anchor of all that was decent and caring in this world. We lost him to cancer when I was 20 and although that was many years ago, he is still a source of strength to me. I still miss him. I am so glad I found this song.

She has an aneurysm on her heart that has returned for the third time, and this time is inoperable ... I met and watch Mercy me shortly after and I can say truely I was blessed! You hang in there. It will take a long time to overcome your sorrow but God will give you strength!

I adore this song and the huge impact it has had in my life. April 17, 2010 was the day my life changed forever. I lost my cousin, best friend and practically my brother. He was killed in a car accident the day after his 17th bday. Every day I pray for strength. I may not see God's plan right now and may not see it until I join my cousin in heaven, but I know he had a plan when he took such a great young man. I just want to say a word of encouragement to anyone who is considering the opportunity to support their cause - Compassion International.
