The R33 GTS also come out in a RB25DE, I have a Series 2 coupe, and had a few mods done so far and have beaten a couple B18 integras, altezzas, 1.8ltr turbo lancer gsr and few other cars so the N/A RB25DE Skylines have a bit off potential without the turbo on it...

I suggest you look at the video again ... all FOUR wheels are spinning on the dyno. An R33 skyline is all wheel drive. An m3 is only a rear wheel drive car.

Also, the higher roofline and pillars don't resemble anything like the sloping look of an m3 e46.

That engine came stock in the Nissan Silvia, the RB series engines (RB25DETT, RB26DETT) came in the skyline. 4cylinder vs inline 6. R33 GTS is a 2ltr RB20DE (N/A)

R33 GTSt Is 2.5ltr RB25DET (single turbo)

R33 GTR is 2.6ltr RB26DETT (twin turbo). . All have variable exhaust timing only the DE&DET have hydraulic lifters which are shit and go wrong : ( so i agree! ; )

not 100% on this, but i was working a r33 gts, i thought they went back to the rb20e (not a de) only 1 cam? i know the r32 is twin and sohc. (i had a rb30e conversion in mine.

Na it was a two ltr DE straight 6 twin cam in the R33 they look like a DET but no fan. A primera GT is quicker than a N/A GTS! : (

i know here in nz they come in a sohc, ind yes the p10 primera (sr20de) is quicker, thats what im driving now (untill i can afford my computer for my evo), witch is also quicker than the 2.0 altezza my wife is now driving.

What`s the point of this discussion?? The RB26DETT is a turboengine. Offcourse the engine doesn`t have much power without the turbos. When it comes to cars, the japaneese (and europeans) are way ahead of americans. Wake up from the 60`s.
