  • It's important that your ESC's can be programmed for Nimh type battery, to avoid power cuts that will cause you to crash. That's why you must use a Lipo low voltage alarm. I used the Turnigy card to program mine.

  • - Make sure that the flight-controller is turned off

    - Turn the Yaw pot to the MIN position

    - Turn on the transmitter

    - Move the throttle stick to top (full)

    - Turn on the flight-controller

    - Wait until the ESC's beeps twice after the initial beeps. (Plush and SS ESC's)

    - Swiftly move the throttle stick fully down (closed). The ESC’s beeps

    - Power off the flight-controller

    - Restore the yaw pot to around 50%

  • How did you set up throttle range on your SS Series ESCs ?

  • Well done. What kind of camera did you shoot this with, a Helment Cam?

  • @sparkie951 I mounted a cheap keyring cam on a pair of safety glasses with velcro. It works but doesn't look very cool. ;)

  • That was great! Did you use the default firmware on the HK board?

  • @swebonny Yes the firmware is stock. I have yet to get into that firmware stuff. The board is definitely a good value.

  • Nice! It is flying solid and with more practice on it you will be able to record videos with it!... Best of luck!

  • @moisdude Thanx Moises. I first saw a multicopter at your shop the day I picked up the Schweizer 300 you sold to me, which is still flying fine. Soon will be posting onboard video with the tilt servo enabled.
