  • how do u use particles in the BGE?

  • So, how can you have particles in the game engine? (Like if there is an explosion or fire or whatever in your game?)

  • There is a nice tutorial on the internet somewhere ... perhaps if you type "blender game engine paritcal tutorial" into google you will find it...

  • I'm not sure if I could find it (but I'll keep looking around for something good)

If you find the precise one you know about, let me know. I'll just keep looking for something good.

So far, I'm getting the impression that you have to animate the particles yourself.

  • Yup unfortunately that's the case with the current stable version

  • please help! when i press the F key, something to do with the faces appears instead of the frame....help please

  • I missed Guy Fawkes day in 2008. Some friends and I were going to go light off fire works. Great video! Looking forward to seeing more from ya!

  • how do u hide the center point. it looks really bad scince there wouldnt be a ball sitting in the air. pls help

  • well make sure that emitter is turned off in the particals pannel then it shouldn't show up on te render

  • OHH!!! Guy Fawlkes (Spelling)) V for Vendetta!! Its all coming back- by the way V for Vendetta is a great movie.

  • ....i don't remember that movie... i believe its an English celebration that we have "stolen" XD

  • o it is a great movie that you need to see... its about a guy dressed to like like guy fawkes that finishes guy fawkes task of blowing up the government (literaly!!!) and throwing England into an anarchy.

  • sounds good... i'll look for it next time i rent out some dvd's

  • yeah it is really good- but if your offended by language and gore, i wouldnt watch it,

  • pshh... i laugh in the face of obscene language and gore. XD

  • well then this is the movie for you

  • what holiday were you celbrating?

  • sorry again but one more thing,

how do you get the video of the rendered animation at da end?

    thanks a lot

    your da best

  • you should watch my other video on animation it should help explain that better then i can in this little text box. XD

  • you mean where to FIND it in the tmp folder in C/:

  • well... it shoudl be called something like "0000_00150.mov" if you left all the stuff defult.

  • Also, how did you change the size of the fireworks when you had your camera?

And how do you get your animation?

Sorry bout all this, im kinda a beginnner

  • if you press g and the middle mouse button (or in my case the scroll wheel) you can zoom in and out when in camera mode.

...i showed you how to make the animation at the beginning... you may want to check out my tutorial on animating.

  • what do you press to get the camera at the end?

  • You press NUMPAD 0 but make sure numlock is on

  • quite nice

  • cheers

  • Great tut. I shall keep this handy. :)

  • thanks, :)

  • kool! man but.... i have to put this out....... ok here it goes...

YOU SAID "I LIKE IT QUITE HARD" hahahahaha!!!!!!

lol Jokes man cool tut and i like how this thing look and moves (you actually showed me the ez way to spin things in the procces)

  • lol... you have a sick mind. yea i always try and use heaps of different techniques when im makeing stuff so you learn lots every time instead of just how to use 1 thing at a time.

    cheers

  • I know I'm on a break from Blender 3D for a couple of months, but I just had to say that you spelled particle wrong. Anyways, a good tutorial, yet again, from the amazing Hamsterhill. :)

  • Also, you could have shown to change the alpha value down at the end, that way the sparks seem to die off naturally and for that middle sphere to disappear.

  • yea but i ran out of time... and I really didn't want to do the whole tutorial again.. its not that important im sure people can figure that out themself's.

  • lol... spelling was never my strong point... one of the reasons I do video tutorials now instead of text ones lol .

  • u rock so does this tutorial

  • thanks man
