Being a huge Sci-Fi fan I had to watch this show and Wow! Farscape is masterpiece. The biggest strength of it is emotional/sexual chemistry between the cast. I love Crichton, Aeryn, Chiana, Zhaan, Pilot, Jool etc Sikozu was the only one annoying character. Zhaan should have been in all 4 seasons. She was the most unique character.
Farscape is one of my fav Sci-Fi shows (along with The X Files, Babylon 5, Robocop The Series, Lexx, The 4400, Torchwood, Earth: Final Conflict, TekWar, SeaQuest etc)

I dissagree, the narrative in season 3 was amazing:
if I make it back. will they follow? If I open the door...Earth is unprepared,helpless for the nightmares I've seen. Or should I stay? Protect my home. Not show them you exist.But then you'll never know the wonder's I've seen.
Farscape and SG1 good but David Lynch's Dune was awful to be quite honest, the producers stepped in and altered everything. Old Davy didn't even want his name on the credits.

Lynch did not want his name on the extended version's credits because there were shots used he did not approve himself (some of them were repetative). I've watched both theatrical and TV-like versions and I understand why he made such a decision.
As a fan of the Dune books I felt disappointed that they altered the plot, it wasn't the Dune I was Expecting. Even the quite recent Dune mini series didn't fulfill its role in presenting this book, although I do find this recent adaptation better than the David Lynch version.
Well, I found Dune mini-series quite ridiculous: cheesy costumes, bad acting, "dead" actors. Herbert's books describe a Middle Age of the future: it had to be dark and bizzare, as it was in David Lynch's movie. Actors were great, costumes fit (in my opinion) to Dune's universe. Many things were really detailed, a lot of money and nerves were spent on the movie. And sorry for my four weeks late answer, I did not receive a message of a new reply and found it accidentally. i used to like sg1 it was my favourite show, but that was before i watched farscape or andromeda. I'm also starting to like the later seasons of atlantis more than sg1, although the first 2 seasons of alantis are kind of horrible
I dunno, I loved SG1, I only finished it last week and now I started watchin Farscape. Certainly Farscape has alot of potential...but will it actually manage to be BETTER than SG1???
I just started watching farscape after watching SG1 and after a season of farscape.. i definitely conclude that it is better. That is not to say that SG1 is not fantastic though
@SuperColossal33 Stargate SG-1 was my favorite show EVER... Then I marathon watched all 4 seasons of Farscape in a month. I have yet to see Peacekeeper War (Netflix ETA is 3 days) But Farscape is now and probably will always be the best show I have ever seen! It was SO good!

The intro to season 1 was the best. Season 3 intro was terrible.. and season 4 was pretty bad too.
The series was great though. Shame diago (dont knwo how to spell it) dies, he was one of my favourites.

strange.. if there is three different opening themes for this show originally.
the syndication edition I've watched only has this theme with different scene actions marking the different seasons.
