Paul Campell is exelent, people who join boxing or karatey classe know they could be hurt, it is ok to be a bit rough on someone as long as it is apropriatly eaqula to their skill, Paul does not go soft on people just because they are a lower belt, but he does not bully and he is a realy nice guy realy. He used to wind me but what do I expect from a karate champion.

i cant see the problem,i trained with paul myself (for 5yrs )he is a lovely man and does everything he can to help teach his students. im sure you cant pick ur opponent for these fights so his opponent must have been deemed worthy by others , he will learn from his mistakes and will get better .

An absolute disgrace to himself and is so called karate club.they should kick him out of the karate federation.If he wants to fight like that tell him to go into cage fighting but better still, bare knuckle fighting on a pub car park the jerk!!!!!!!Being a 6th dan karate instructor you should have shown better control. The way you hit that student was just damn right pathetic and disgracefull I think it's time you grew up and act your age.

Also from your site it dose say that "Academy to improve their fitness levels, concentration, confidence, self-esteem, focus, co-ordination and improvement in their Anger management." Did you happen to forget this? I think you hit there confidence as hard as you hit them. You lower there self-esteem like the common primary school bully you are.

Paul Campbell, I have been training karate of seven years and I have never seen such a disgrace and lack of respect in my life. You where fighting two lower grades and striking the just how you would fully hit an impact pad.

Paul why dont you try fighting someone that equal to your own grade like another 5th or 6th Dan not yellow belts or brown belts. You shouldnt be allowed to enter competition with such a lot of low graded people, isnt about time you retired and let others show there skills people.

Legal responsibility rests with the instructor/coach on the day as to their students capability to participate in a competition.Only the aforementioned is priveliged to the students grade and health (recovering from major surgery etc).The use of red/blue belts & mitts gives grade anonimity. A claim can only be made by proving negligence or lack of duty of care to another. This duty of care failed and is solely the resposibility of the competitors coach on the day. I guess it would be ok to beat this guy up. If he was trying to steal somthing. But that is just being horrible and agressive. Its a competiton not a fight for his life. you should be able to win easily without hurting them, i mean, you only have to touch them, not mush up thier insides you jerk.
