@sugardaddies yeah, the harmonies and everything doesn't sound the same without ryan. he had the vocals down packed but the new guy has a real problem with singing really high. it just doesn't sound right. the song shouldn't be retired it just needs to be improved. though it will never be as good as the original with ryan and jon.

its in tune, hes using nylon strings instead of steel strings so that makes his guitar sound...different. I think its to clash with ians distortion. imagine a soft acoustic guitar song with a metal guitar in the background...doesnt work well with steel strings but nylon makes it somewhat better

I'm glad they did Northern Downpour, I'm actually surprised but in a good way.

But still we all loved Panic because there was something special about their music. Something was special, but nobody could figure out what it was. Now the person that made Panic's music special has left the band - Ryan Ross. "Things have changed" i guess...

Ryan doesn't have copyright over anything because he's not part of the band anymore. The songs technically belong to the band, and since he's not in the band, Panic! has every right to sing it.

In my opinion, that guitar is probably out of tune but... Ryan played it with other chords G & C while Brendon plays it with F&Bb so it's normal that it sounds different.

But it's out of tune. It should sound like in the album version. (this one is with F and Bb)

If I were Brendon, I would be very pissed at my guitar tech. That buzzing problem didn't happen with that guitar at any of the other shows (based on vids I've seen from the other tour dates.)

it's not buzzing, it's out of tune and if it is buzzing it;s brendon's fault because of the way he's barring his chords
