Matthew Good is on another plane of existence, he transcends boundaries and so much wisdom, sense, depth and insight has never been seen in another human being before in history.
Nicklesmack and Matthew Good can't even be compared. Matt is so far beyond what they will ever dream of being. Any real musician or artist knows this as a fact. I just wish Matt would come to New Orleans and NB would go away from the airwaves.
This was never a real standout on the album, but it's a close second to Suburbia as my favourite song of his in this arrangement. Also, I'm a Martin guy but that Taylor is epic-sounding. I played one a few months ago and it was awesome. No pickguard helps I'm thinking.
I had a Hawaiian koa taylor on trial for a few weeks, only thing was as it played real nice the sound wasnt there real flat, compared to my SM6 seagull, which isnt even in the same league and not even close to any of my Martins. Need to give a Taylor another go around. Great action. Matt gets great tone from his. BTW that SM6 is my fav, great bang for buck awesome tone.

It's such a shame how underrated this guy is. I wish my friends would get off the god damn Nickleback and have the patience to listen to what a real canadian artist sounds like. Cheers to Matt Good for his solid, emotional blend of folk and rock.

It just really sucks how theres still people worldwide who automatically associate Nickleback with what they think good quality canadian rock is supposed to sound like. Especially when there's talented artists such as Matt Good who just radiate sheer excellence with their music. Yet, you can go up to any fellow canadian and tell them about Matt and they have no idea who you're talking about.
I agree with your sentiments on Nickelback, but Matt Good is very well known throughout Canada, or was anyway. He's won Juno awards. The Matthew Good Band was huge during the 90s. If he's been forgotten already by his own country, that's very VERY unfortunate.
This was the last of 8 straight shows for me. Such an artist. Nothing like great dinner,wine and a Matt Good acoustic show....real singing and real emotion and canadian.....wicked!!!
He's such a poet, telling the most genuine and beautiful stories I've ever listened to. I hope so much he'll play good old europe again one day! I'd travel the whole continent to get to one show. You guys in canada are damn lucky ;)
damn, he didn't play this song at the Vancouver show. He didn't play one song from Audio actually. I would've loved to see like this, Truffle Pigs, Advertising on Police Cars or Sort of a Protest Song man, but especially this song.
