    How do I get one?

  • I want one how do I get?

  • Nice sound what year is it?what size engine also?

  • So the only thing done to this exhaust is bypassing the 2nd set of catalytic converters, correct? Stock muffler, etc..

  • wonderful!I' ve the same car! can u tell me what is the diameter of the pipes(bypass)!....thanks:)

  • Buy a Honda S2000 if you are 20. Have owned both, not looking back. Make sure to get the AP1 with the F20C, 9,000 rpm. A boxster S is a nice car, but its slow, and costs to much to maintain

  • Sorry but that's bullshit.

  • @doubleclutch9 some of us like TORQUE and that's why we don't drive Honda S2000s. I'd rather not need to have the RPMs pegged at redline just to pass another car. There honestly is no replacement for displacement.

  • @Obinjess except forced induction

  • @ryanazarko amen

  • @doubleclutch9 ap1 s2000's sare slower.

  • WOW! This sounds sooooo much better than stock boxster exhaust. NICE!!

  • Still deciding wether or not to save up for a year to get an 00' Boxster or cheat and get a loan. You can pick a Boxster up in the uk on 99 plate for 7k, with about 40,000 miles on it if u go private. I'm 20, shall I save or?. Sick of driving a Ford KA 3, Not fast, Very common and it's for girls.

  • You might be able to afford the 7k to buy it, but what about servicing and if something goes wrong without a warranty!? I'm looking at a 2007 3.4S with the same dilemma!

  • I can afford the insurance and cost. Yeah that's the thing that worries me. Cost of tire's and repair's.

I hear the cost of a Porsche service is £400!. You can however rebuild a Boxster engine on you're own for as little as 2k with about 80% new part's.

Most common thing I've heard is an IMS failure but that was apparently fixed on 2006 models and onwards so you should be okay.

I could get a 2005 BMW Z4 for the same amount.

  • Hi Aaron, I have a 2006 Boxster 987, the minor service costs ££480 at a main dealer but you could save 30% by taking it to an independent specialist (mine is still under warranty). The good news is that the service schedule is recommended every 20,000 miles and the book even states every 30,000 miles so when you consider that a Ford dealer can charge upwards of £200 to service a Fiesta every 12,000 miles the prices for a Porsche are not really that bad!

  • @AaronSmith0 so is the boxster

  • hi guys do you know the side for the pipe to make the bypass??should be 200mm

  • Music to my ears!

    Good job!

  • is it legal? and in germany?^^

  • nice sound

  • Dont like the sound. Far away from the orginal boxer-music. You americans like the low rumble sound. I dont. But you own a Boxter and that is cool!

  • really liked the tone

  • Superb :)

  • Why is that ----4000? That doesn't even make sense. I sold my 997 Carrera S to buy a Cayman S, which is a Boxster hardtop. It's a better platform than the 997. I have owned a lot of cars and bumper to bumper nothing feels as refined as Porsche. If you can afford a Boxster you can afford a 997, it's purely preference.

  • euh.. clarkson is a funny man :p

I got my boxster at age 27, driving it for 3years now and still like it everytime i use it. Hopefully in the next couple off years replacing it by something faster :-)

  • It's a lot funnier when he says it. Picked up my 986S several years ago. It's performed unbelievably well at a over a half dozen track events. The mid-engine platorm is truly remarkable, and gets a lot of compliments from the 911 guys. Absolutely does come down to preference. With all do respect, if your reiteration of this comment is your way of passing judgement solely based on price tag, you're definitely missing the point.

  • hey, where did you get this? Are you based in Europe? I want one of these!!!

  • That sounds great Where can I get this system I did a search and came up with nothing help I want one Thanks

  • sounds just like the perfect porsche, Raspy and MEAN.

    nice work!

  • what does OEM mean?

  • original equipment manufacturer.

  • Sounds great!

  • erm...don't think this sounds too good to be honest!

  • I like the sound. And what he did essentially is make his muffler a PSE that is always on "sport". thats basically what they all sound like (keep in mind he has secondary cat delete pipes too however.

  • sounds pretty nice, should have redlined it though.

  • How about saving some money and buying a recent Boxster with the PSE... If you only have about $20,000.00 and no spare change for a real Exhaust system, get another car, an affordable car... It sounds terrible!

  • That sounds terrible, like there is just a hole in the muffler. I had the Porsche Sport Exhaust on my Boxster and it was WAAAAY better than that. The PSE on the Boxster sounds more like Formula cars once you hit 6k RPM, pretty cool. Anyone considering a Boxster exhaust replacement needs to consider the PSE.

  • Damn that sounds good! Great video man

  • I love that sound!

  • There's a kid on my campus who drives a Boxster S. It's annoyingly too loud. It actually sounds like he's running open downpipe :\. I wonder if he has a similar setup. I don't know though, it's EXTREMELY loud. Good video, btw.

  • Oh wow---all u boxster convertible owners...Dont you hate the dropping door glass.. Looks nice but gets soo annoying after a while....

  • Ive done this to mine, and it sounded like that for a couple weeks then it got quieter again

  • Sounds Great!

All the questions everybody posted just confused me, but it sounds Great!! nice job.

  • so luisrinsivillo you can put this system to any car and sound like a porsche boxter s is that right?

  • rofl... no.

  • a hyundai with that sound OMG LoL

  • thats was awesome bro, i cant wait to get my headers for my boxster,so it can sound like yours

  • sounds damn good too

  • any change in performance?

  • would that sound the same on the '97 - '99 boxsters w/ the 2.5L engine?? .. wow i have alot of questions

  • somebody told me that doing this could cause cat failure.. it that true? and what is cat failure anyway?

  • Those pipes are from fabspeed dot com

  • The two pipes just bypass the muffler. The pipes are connected after the catalytic converter, and are reattached to the tailpipe after the muffler. The car exhaust emissions are unchanged and can pass inspection for CO2, Nitrous, etc, while sounding louder.

  • the two pipe do not bypass the muffler but rather the secondary catalytic converters. It replaces the rear 2 cats with straight through pipes.

  • that sounds awesome. what exactly did you do? and how much did it cost?

  • please driving-sound movies without the wind blowing in the mic !

  • I'll get more videos once I get the car off the jacks!!!

  • wow -that sounds freakin evil - how hard was it to make the bypass pipes?.

  • no hard at all, well I didn't do the welding, I had someone who knows what he is doing and the tubes I bought already bent, for a clean and easier job!!!!

  • Suena arrecho..

  • Suena Burda!!! de arrecho! ;)
