I live in America so we are slow to get the episodes. I am a Tudor buff and have studied the history of Henry and his wives and it is true that Henry by that time was very overweight and Anne was not as pretty as the actress they have chosen for her here. The chosen actors make watching very pleasant, but not historically correct, and it makes the statement I like her not.. a little odd when the actress is very attractive. I love this series however, I think its the best ever made.

Utter crap.So far from reality i don't know why they bothered to make it.Henry was a fat deseased ugly old man by this point,and Anne of Cleves was big nosed,big boned and pockmarked.It's a wonder Hans Holbein never lost his head from painting a misleading portrait of her.

I have studied this period in depth throughout college and it acuratelly depicts the history with very few departures. the only thing of course is the physical appearences. they modernise it with younger hotter actors to pull a larger audience. why did they make it? you are a fucking piece of shit who obviously knows nothing about the Tudor reign. nobody wants to watch some burl ives fucker playing henry

I have studied this period as well and this show was inaccurate in more than just appearance. To begin with, they mainly focused on Anne Boleyn. They barely focused on any of the other wives and they did NOT start at the beginning when Henry was crowned king at the same time the KOA was crowned queen.

Unfortunately I won't be able to state all of the inaccuracies in this show but here a few of the inaccuracies in this show. For one, Henry Fitzroy died at 17 not as a small child. Thomas Howard was not executed during Henry's reign. He was merely imprisoned and released when Mary became queen. He died an old man and of natural causes. Among many others.. There's enough room on youtube to write them all down.

You are completely right. If the other user had truly studied Tudor History then she would know better. The were so many inaccuracies in this show that it was ridiculous.

Henry was no longer good looking when meeting Anne of Cleves. He had grown extremely obese and his leg had an awful smell around it.
