  • haha clash of the titans!

  • mastiff is pretty ugly doesn´t look like a mastiff, your bordeaux is awsome

  • Great dogs!!! i love mastiffs, im getting a neapolitan in 2 months!! are they hard to train?? btw i love to see u have an old type mastiff not the fashion one we see today with excess of skin and alot of health problems, congrats!

  • bordeauxs are amazing.. not that neapolitans arnt

  • The Neapolitan is about 4 years old in this photo. She is actually a good size for a girl, probably weighs about 58kg in this vid, she doesn't have a huge excess of skin

  • @Hieronymus851 i love how the newer neos arent so wrinkly n fat, they seem more sleek and powerful now, a much better guard dog

  • neapolitan mastiff is still a puppy right? its small for the breed. also i luv french mastiffs i have one, her name is pheobe i can post a vid of her if u want :P

  • awesome dogs!

  • I would kill for one of your dogs! Viva Molosser!

  • big woof bears!

  • Is Bordeaux the breed of dog that features in the 'Turner and Hooch' movie?

  • My favourite dog breeds in the same video :)

  • We have a DDB male, 2 years old :)

    he's about 57 kilo's now.

    Hope he doesn't gain more..

I mean, the less he weighs, the better for his hips and elbows :)

I hate it when people get a "big dog" (mastiff's, dobermans, Pits etc)

and they start making him gain weight right away.. and then they're like really proud "my rottie is 65 kilo's!!" and i'm like "ouch.. I pitty your dog when he starts to hurt while moving..."

they think having them as big as possible is a good thing?!? -.-'

  • @kollaaa91 how much was yours weighing around the four month mark? thats how old mine is now and he's about 24kilos. i feed him a very carefull diet to ensure he gets all the nutrients he needs and doesnt grow too fast but i do worry he is very small?

  • @sedod66 he was around 25 kilo's.. Don't worry, they grow soo fast, better for him to be too small then to be too big :)

  • @sedod66 sorry how long it took me to reply :/

ours was around 26 kilo's at that age.. how much does yours weigh now?

  • @kollaaa91 no problem, he is a year old tomorrow and around 65kg now. hes turned into a very big male, and we are getting him a boerboel girlfriend soon!

  • @sedod66 sorry, but a year old and your gonna breed him soon? :S

he hasn't even reached the proper age to be checked for hip and elbow dysplasia (18-24 months)

it's extremely important to check for that, especially if you want to breed him

  • @kollaaa91 no im not breeding him. ive just had him neutered now hes a year old. and ive bought a boerboel girl who is 15 weeks old now and they are best friends. he is very protective of her. i leave breeding to proper professionals! i will put some vids of them playing up soon. its very funny.

  • @sedod66 oooh okay hehe sorry, when you said girlfriend I thought you were gonna breed him :p

great that you're not one of those who just want to profit from your dog :)

yeah let me know when you put video's up :D I'd love to see them!

  • @kollaaa91 theres a vid up of them playing in the park on my channel now. it was filmed on my phone so its got a strange view that i cant seem to change but youl still see them having fun!

  • @sedod66 awwww :D love it!

  • @kollaaa91 lol thankyou! they are so funny to watch, cant wait to see her grow up too.

  • Italy and France!!!

  • Im buying my Dad a Doug de Bordeux for his 50th and im getting a neapolitan mastiff at the same time for myself to go with my English Bull terrier. il try to get some videos on as soon as possible

  • nice neo mate iv got 2 gsd's but in 6 months im getting a neo i have to say your neo bitch is well nice nice head and size i dont like the big overbred neapolitan she can move very nice unlike others i have seen oh of course nice ddb (aint my thing to tell the truth)

  • i have a neo, had olde english and english bulldogges, had a bullmastiff, my next breed i want to get is the dogue de bordeaux. I love the bull and mastiffs breeds.

  • o forgot to say i might have another one on the way fingers crossed

  • alright buddy its paplos owner here i have him on you utube as neapolitian mastiff playing with cat to be honest it the wrong video but you can still see playing with the other two

  • ....the dogs around the 50-60 kg mark which is where they should be according to the written stnadard and for health reasons. Over recent years DDBs have been breed increasingly larger and with more skin, more akin to Neapolitans which is not what they are meant to look like!!

  • I think the Bordeaux was about 5 or so and the Neapolitan about 4 when this was taken. The girl is the right size for a Neapolitan, she just does'nt have the massive abundance of skin a lot of them do which gives the impression of greater size. Bosco, the DDB, was at the smaller end of the scale but considering DDBs are supposed to be significantly smaller teh Neapolitans, it's not too much of a big deal. The big DDBs were dismissed from the ring at crufts this year with the judge preferring

  • Both look very small for Mastiffs. Especially for the Dogue De Bordeaux and Neo Mastiff. What breeder did you buy them from?

  • I would hate to see your vet bill. Lovely dogs though.

  • very nice dogs ...=)) i love it

how old is mastiff ??'he looks young =)

  • do you breed lol dogs of course

  • I so wanted to adopt a mastiff, but i'm still in college. i've got a newfie akita dalmatian mix instead. lord knows i love him, but i still want a big old slobbery foot cushion XD

  • smiled watching this :). thats how mastiffs should be, fit, healthy and happy. your obveosly a responsible owner, wish more people were...

  • Que pareja tan bonita...

  • I would say the Neapolitan out of mine, but if she's out the house the Bordeaux fills the role. A lot depends on the individual dog and the lines they come from, I don't know if you can make generalisations

  • which is more protective? please respond.

  • About 45 min power walking per day, walking to heel and focused on the walk. 3-4 times a week, out to the park and off leash for as long as I like

  • They are in great shape for their breeds. How do you exercise them?

  • yes, the Bordeaux is the brown one

  • wooooow amazing, as you can take them so well trained please i have one mastiff and is so disordered, answer, thanks

  • they get on well if socialised and trained correctly and if they are introduced to the new dog in the right way

  • does neos n ddbs get along well with other dogs?

  • Great dogs, we have 4 Neapolitan Mastiffs, love the Bourdeau too! - - Rockford, IL.
